Hi everyone,

Ok, I know you're all going to say "do a test to find out for sure!" but I am wondering if I could be pregnant. I didnt want to test till further down the line as it's only about 21dpo but......

My periods have never ever been regular so it's difficult to tell when i'm ovulating but when I did start what I thought was my period I worked it back and I think my husband and I probably did have unprotected sex around this time. Anyway, I say what i "thought" was my period as usually my period is quite heavy for about 5 days but I have been having an extremely light bleed on and off for about a week, it's quite dark in colour and started off almost brown.

Also, I am getting the "feelings" that I am about to get my period, restless legs, slight back ache, and the light tummy cramps.

Also, i'm really tired and have had a few headaches which I put down to using my laptop too much!!

I've looked at other peoples symptoms on here such as sore boobs and nausea etc but i've had none of that but then it may be too soon???

I keep telling myself I wouldnt be pregnant but only because i'm bleeding but then I read that some people have light bleeding like this for a while!!

I am so confused and, as I said, I know you're all going to say "do a test!" but would just like your honest opinion based on your own emperiences, is there a chance I could be?

Hi there

Period symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are very similar so it's hard to tell unless you actually are late or like you say do a test

I was bitten by the am I aren't I this month, for me I am always on a 28 day cycle, this month however I was 3 days late and leading up to this time I did not have any of my normal period signs so got a little hopeful, however yest the witch arrived

So one thing I have learned from this is do not read into anything, the only way to know for sure is to wait and see if af arrives then do a test

If you are 21 dpo then you should get an accurate result on a test. I got my bfp at bout 10-12 dpo.

It's the only way you will know for sure.

Well i think you should test for sure . I didn't test until i was 22 DPO and got a very clear result! ..The later you leave it the better the result, but since your at the 22 DPO mark id say the result will be unmistakable
