Hi everyone

I hope I'm not completely blind but dont think there is an official October babies thread yet?!

I am 5 wks 1 day and calculated I am due on 3rd October!!

Anyone else out there?

I was 5 weeks and 1 day but as it stands we couldn't remember when my last period started and it was a week before!

so now i'm 6 weeks and a day!

erm, i kno i'm in the september babies thread LOL i am being greedy but altho i'm six weeks tomorrow i know i ovulated late i must have longer-than-average cycles and going off that my due date is october 3rd too

Hi everyone

Home early today. Had an appt with the GP at 330 today as first appt since i got + HPT but when I turned up they said my appointment had been for yesterday. (i phoned last wednesday to get it). So she was like "well its says here it was yesterday and I have nothing today". And that was it. So now I am at home. I know nothing very exciting happens at these appts but i cant be arsed making another one now -which will no doubt be next week?! Do you have to see a GP to get the ball rolling?

Depends whether you're allowed to contact your midwife team direct. Maybe give them a ring and ask? You need to get hold of some folic acid if you haven't already, but then you can buy that over the counter, so... my GP didn't do anything apart from fill in a form to refer me, so if your midwife accepts direct referrals then I woudln't bother about GP. You shoudl be abel to look up their number online so give it a go.

i didnt have to see a gp. i just handed some pee over to a receptionist and i made an appointment with the midwife. ask the receptionist at your surgery over the phone. they will know without having to talk to a gp

When I saw my GP he just filled in forms and said that the Midwife will know everything.

Im newish on here and ive just found out about this thread ,
im due oct 25th, me and partner have just found out early as we planned
it, and were over the moon , we have 3 children 2getha already
2boys and 1girl all growin so fast now so very excited for my bump again

I am due on 7th October - eeeeek! Wasn't prepared for this to happen so quickly so I still don't feel very maternal and keep having to tell myself that I am growing a baby.

Have you ladies had any symptoms yet? I just feel really bloated and fat especially after I eat anything....

Dont no about you but only symtoms ive had at the mo is feeling very bloated and full of wind , hope this is normal,?
makes me feel better when sum1 else is feeling same other wise i start to worry myself xx

Obviously very early days. Not informing gp yet, as something's telling me not to praying it's just me being silly!
