They said this is quite normal as the cervix swells up and blood vessels burst, but to call him if i notice any bleeding call him

Cramps and discharge have cleared his Morning and my temp is wonderfully high 😍

My temp is also very high, not relaxing until missing AF though.

Hey, I wonder if you could but our due dates on the original post? That way it's easy to see where everyone is at. My due date is a tentative 4th of October according to the nurse I talked to yesterday.

I’m not really feeling anything at the moment! I do want to feel pregnant but I guess it’s a bit early! I’ll probably regret saying that in a few months when I feel rubbish! I have had cramps which made me think I was coming on and I was going to the toilet v frequently to check if I had come on! I had a feeling for 2 days that I should take a test. I really thought it would be negative but came up positive pretty much as soon as I peed on it!!! Took 2 more before allowing myself to properly believe it! Had to do a digital as well as wanted to see it written!

Honestly.... like $hit! hot flushes, cant sleep, nausea, and my boobs are so sore. I also have slight cramos but thats passsing. All part of the process though

Oh Tara you felt like me in the beginning stages honestly can say tri 1 is the worst tri by far... but it does get better and when you feel little one kicking crap outta you it’s best feeling in world and more than worth all the suffering xx

I’m still having cramps but they’re definitely not as painful anymore although when I woke up this morning my first thought was oh I’m definitely coming on today....then remembered that I’m pregnant haha. Then I sat up too quickly and almost threw up! Had to run to be bathroom! I wasn’t actually sick but definitely still feeling quite nauseous today. Sorry you’re feeling rubbish Tara, hopefully you start to feel better soon. I’ve read that the first trimester makes us feel a bit crap and have no energy but at least we will all get through it together

I just keep thinking of the beautiful baby that I have in 9 months time, which makes it a tad bit easier.

I can’t wqit for that point Holli, this will all be a distant memory by then.

Tara: I phoned my GP today and they gave me a phone number for the midwives who are based at a different surgery (looked it up and still not that far away but my GP is literally over the toad from my house). I had to leave a message on the answering machine. The recorded message said if booking first appointment to leave my name, DOB, date of first day of last period and phone number. Just waiting for them to call me back now. Hopefully they will today. Have you booked your appointment?

That would be nice if you get to have a sneak peek! The midwife phoned me back. I have a pre booking appointment on the 19th Feb (day before my birthday!) and then the booking appointment on Friday 2nd March at 8:30. I’m not working the 19th but I work in NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) and don’t have my shifts for March yet so hopefully I’m not working or can swap a shift with someone that day if I am. I feel like I’ve got ages to wait now though until my appointments!
