****** October 2018 Mummies! ******

@Kazz1n oh you poor thing, I'm not looking forward to the nausea at all. I'm hoping I will be one of the lucky few that doesn't get it too bad.

@hannahm987 OMG I have the same dilemma...two of my best friends are getting married in May and September and I'm meant to be a bridesmaid for both weddings! I have a London hen do to attend the first weekend in March and abroad do's in April and September. I really don't know what to do as I obviously don't want to tell anyone at this point but they are so soon I just don't know how I would get away with not drinking, especially as a bridesmaid! I'm also going to have to say something as the dresses will need to be altered. It's giving me anxiety!

@tara_46 glad it went well, that must be a relief :)

@LullaBell - YAY!!! Congrats and welcome - we are EDD buddies :)

Oh god KJ that is stressful! I am lucky in that this wedding is December so I will have (if everything goes to plan) had my baby before the wedding will just need to do my best to get back into a dress

Hi everyone, I'm new here - got a bfp on a frer today, after first month of clomid (came off depo injection 2.5 years ish ago and not been on any contraception since) think I'm still in shock but would be lovely to join you all! I'm 2 days past AF today, so at start of week 5 x

Hi ladies, congrats on the new BFP’s! There’s lots of October mummy to be’s :)

Half term this week so feeling it and it’s only Tuesday! I’m 5w 1d today- I caved and booked an early scan for sat 24th so hopefully will see a heartbeat.

Sorry if this is TMI question but how are you all feeling about dtd? We haven’t done ‘it’ since we found out last week. We are rather active so we both know a week is a while but neither have us have mentioned it. It sounds silly but I worry because I’m so early it might.. shake it loose? Do some harm? Lol silly? Feeling the added pressure with stoooopid valentines tomorrow!

Xx

Nope. Still not DTD yet and 6 weeks now!
I have however had some time to myself and that’s not done any harm.
My husbands sex drive is rubbish. I think that’s part of this problem.

What’s your estimated due date?

Thanks Cornish Girl, natural cycles estimates it at 20th October. Having lots of twinges and strange cramping sensations at the moment! Xx

We have been told as long as you're not bleeding dtd is okay.
Just a heads up, when you get more pregnant sometimes orgasm can give you the worst fucking cramps..
I actually thought I'd done serious damage, but no it's normal.
I just wish I had known before haha

I honestly wouldn’t worry, we’ve been even more ‘active’ than usual since my BFP (like seriously, at least twice a day lol). I think it must be the hormones! I was worried about going to the gym at first but have read everywhere that it’s perfectly safe so don’t see why dtd would be any different :) x

Yayyyy congrats and welcome! Two new additions in one day, how exciting ⭐️

Lol thanks ladies! Will see what tonight brings..

Hope you all get spoilt today and enjoy valentines!

My husband is working away today and I'm feeling pretty miserable this morning. :(

See my pregnancy journal update if you'd like to read the whole sad rant.

CG just caught up on your journal. Can I just say what a bloody strong woman you are! I’ll look forward to reading your updates :) sorry you’re having a tough day and having to do it all on your own. Think I would have given up and crawled back into bed! At least you have your little one to cuddle with tonight probably until late by the sounds of it! Tomorrow is a new day hang In there xx

Hello ladies. I found out today that I'm pregnant. Not really been trying as didn't want to put the pressure on. We were just waiting to see what happened. I'll be due 22.10.18. I joined PF when trying to conceive my eldest in 2013. He's now 2 and a half! And ready to be a big brother!!! Congratulations to everyone. No symptoms or anything here yet other than a horrid taste in my mouth. I was meant to be going day drinking with my friends tomorrow and just had an inkling, so thought I best test just in case!!! Good job I did.

Happy Valentine's day everyone!!! 😍😍😍

Congrats @twinkletoes220 and welcome!

I had my first routine GP appointment this morning to confirm everything and sign up for antenatal care. It's feeling very real now! Due to my PCOS and irregular periods (I usually have 75-95 day cycles ) I have to go for an early dating scan/checkup in the next week or two. NC saying I ovulated on the 31st Feb but Dr. wants to confirm as she thinks I could be anything between 4-6 weeks.

I had a bit of an emotional morning and spent the first half of my day in tears today. I'm having lots of very mixed feelings and emotions about everything which is scaring me a little, but I think that is to be expected with your first. It also doesn't really help that I have no-one to talk to about it as obviously we haven't told anyone yet! Did/does anyone else feel like this? I feel awful just typing it! It's not that I'm not ridiculously excited but I'm also just extremely scared and nervous.

Try and focus on the happiness you are going to have a beautiful baby don’t let any negative thoughts creep into your head they are never healthy! Just enjoy your pregnancy and think positively that everything will be fine :)
