October 2017 mummies :-)

I am quite far behind you all I think, Only just turned 23 weeks today.

Sooooo bored of being pregnant now, just want my baby!! I've waited long enough :(

Not dealing with heat well at all, it wipes me out completely and I can't move. Yesterday I just slept in the afternoon trying to get energy.

Lovely to hear you are all doing well!

OMG, its so hot. Came home and the house was reading 29+c! Thank god for fans.

Hope your legs start feeling better soon Flick. I know what you mean about burning in the UK. I always seem to forget that it can happen.
Today hasn't been too bad for me as the office was lovely and cool. I stayed late to make the most of it. Got to go to London tomorrow though and I am not looking forward to the train and tubes.

What did the hiccups feel like Allysa? I've had some rhythmic jolts- not sure if that's it. Movement is pretty sporadic during the day and I feel it more inside (hopefully this explanation will make sense!), I think its cos the waistband on my maternity jeans are pretty thick so I don't see or feel the movement outside then. However when I get home and slob out on the sofa or the bed in my sweats I can feel and see much stronger movements. She's pretty active in the evenings between 2000 and 2200. She seems to have bursts of movement and then stops for a bit. Last night she was so busy I thought she was trying to redecorate in there!

I can't wait for my appointment next Tuesday as I'm keen for the midwife to measure me and I want to discuss weight. I know everyone's different but I'm keen to see if I'm measuring well for me and my size. I just want to know that the baby seems happy and healthy. xx

I'm behind you ladybugs, I'm 22+4 :) I think the heat is making me feel ten times more pregnant than I actually am, I've been huffing and puffing and waddling about work today!

My baby is super active through the night and early morning and I hardly feel him through the day, hope this isn't a sign of his sleeping pattern once he's here. I managed to catch a video of his movements this morning so daddy was pleased :)

Morning x

Yeah I have caught a couple of videos of him kicking, my mum pesters for them as she is out in portugal for a few months at the moment x

Am off to my midwife shortly, nervous again....... why do I find these kind of things nervous, I was having mad dreams last night when I was sleeping and not sweating, all horrible ones of the baby being deformed and stuff, makes me wake up in even more of a sweat, is anyone else having horrible nightmares? x

Well, looks like another hot day! I haven't been too bad, it's just my hands and feet swelling up. I've given up on my wedding rings and anything other than flip flops! I think it's going to start cooling down this week, the sun can stay, just a little less hot please!
We have solar panels so when it's so sunny, and our electric is free, I've started washing all the babies clothes and will start sorting them out into age ranges. Had a massive bin bag donated from a friend so will start with that...

Maybe it's because I know 2 people who went into labour at 25 and 26 weeks...their babies survived, but they have no end of health problems, bless them. It's all starting to get a bit real now - eek!

Mw appt on Thursday, can't believe I haven't seen her since 16 weeks! Will be interesting to see if they measure the bump, I feel huge!
X

Oh dear, I usually like nice warm weather but being pregnant makes me sweat like a pig and being dizzy. From yesterday I feel very nauseous, one colleague is joking that he might have his hair grown now.

I do not know how to explain hiccups but I am almost sure it was that as it felt so different from anything and exactly the same feeling when I have hiccups.

My baby is as well active if I wake up early, my hubby went to work at around 6 and he didn't let me sleep after , kicking and moving.

Lea, that is my biggest nightmare- to go into labour earlier! I hope my boy stay put until at least 37 weeks.
When on holiday , one night I almost went to A/E and was sure I start to go in labour, had really bad pains. In the end it was a very bad indigestion/ heartburn and I took some pills from pharmacy which made me feel better.

I am a bit stressed about my MATB1 as I did not received it until now, supposed to get it on Monday when I have midwife appt but I will be 25 weeks past! I called before holiday and now again to ask for it but no reply from midwife. Not happy about it..

Allysa, I'm waiting on my matb1 form too. I was told I would get it at 25 week appt. but then I looked at my work policy and apparently they needed it 15 weeks before - which is this week! I hope it's their waiting for me at my appt on Thursday - I will let you know...

The midwife just called me back, they will leave it for me to pick up from my surgery tomorrow which is fine. This is why I got stressed as well, my HR lady told me to bring it in until my 25th week and my midwife appt is not until Monday which will be my 26th week. Lea you will probably receive it on Thursday at your midwife appt !
Glad this is sorted.

Been to midwife, got my MATB form so am back in the office now ready to hand it in, exciting! Little bugger was moving so much it took her ages to get a good clip of the heartbeat, he just kept kicking out at the doppler!! But he is measuring a little bit chunky! He is 28cm so just above the 90th percentile.........

She will sort my Fit to Fly form for me so saves on paying the doc to do it, got my next appointment in 3 weeks when they will do bloods etc so it feels like it is all getting to an exciting stage now x

Wow, I am so exciting for Monday to see the midwife now! I did not know they will measure our babies.I have a big bump for 6 months as I put quite a lot of fat as well ..

I was supposed to go on a wedding mid July when I will be around 27-28 weeks but I decided not to go as I am scared something might happen.

Outside is burning and in the office I started to get headaches from the air con...Awesome

I hate London in the heat, and the trains and the tube. I am so hot and I think my ankles have swollen a bit. Thank god for the baby on board badge.

My midwife was really good with the MATB1, I could get it from 20weeks. It was handy as I had to get it posted off to my HR department. Took them 3 weeks to process it!

Just sat down on the train and can feel baby starting to move. Its nice as she's been quiet most of the day as I've been moving around a fair amount. x

Morning !!

Congratulations on 25 weeks , Flick ! X My next milestone is when my ticker will show less than 100 days :D

Amy, my boy is the same, he is quiet when I am busy but very active when I am resting. Today my bump looks so much bigger, look like I popped over night !

Today is a bit cooler yey x

Ladies, I am so uncomfortable at the moment. Not just the heat but my back is in agony and it is so uncomfortable when I turn in bed at night.

I still have pressure in my lower area on a daily basis, it is worse at night if I have a full bladder. The doctors and midwife are not concerned about the pressure as baby is all fine on scans.

I just can't cope much at the moment, it is really starting to get my mood down.

How is everyone else feeling or is it just me?

Happy to hear some of you are hitting 25 weeks!

Have they said anything that can help? I am going the loo about 4 times in the night and it is pitiful, hardly anything there but he is just lying right across my bladder and using it as a squeezy toy! Have you tried heat pads (or ice pads in this weather)? lumber supports for back pain? Do you work standing up or can you sit down/lie down for periods? x

I had terrible back pain and tension on my belly all morning, just started to ease and feel better. Like Flick mentioned try some supports for the back which might help if the pain is constant. Hope you feel better soon x

Well I sit down at work which I think causes my back even more problem. Yeh I have to get up at least twice in the night at the moment. No advice given but I am going to book in with a chiropractor next week to see if they can help me. I've used ice packs but I can't wear them overnight :(

Sorry to hear about all the aches and pains ladies, although I feel bad in saying its making me feel really lucky and like Im currently getting away with it all pretty easily. Although I am caveating this with the words 'at the moment!' Yeah I'm hot, but we all are. My back aches sometimes but nothing major. I hope yours feels better soon ladybugs. I am feeling really big and uncomfortably bloated sometimes. Throughout the day I just seem to expand and my stomach starts to feel uncomfortable. And so much about worrying about the bump coming in all those weeks ago!

Not sure if baby is having a growth spurt as I've been really hungry all day. Its weird- I've not felt particularly hungry but my tummy has been rumbling all day and I've just felt like I could eat everything.

Baby seems to be a cheeky devil as well. She'll stop moving for a while, so I'll get a bit worried, then try and calm myself down and wait, then just when I'm wondering if I should call someone she'll give me some reassuring kicks. Worrying me already!xx

Woah, baby is being so active at the moment. Stomach looks like something from Alien!

I am very stressed again, since yesterday evening I did not had many movements, just some light ones and no kicks..I will check the heartbeat with the doppler when I get home. I wouldn't mind him kicking all the time really.
