Congratulations to all the beautiful babies been born. Sorry I've missed some. We have been in our own little bubble.

Carter is 2 weeks old and is settling into worldly life just fine. He seems to be a bit colicy but we have made a few changes to things like bottles and feeding winding methods. Also using infacol and he seems to be settling by the day. He was awake and quiet today which makes a change. He seems to settle ok at night making night feeds bearable. Plus shift work with OH allows me sleep.

OH goes back to work Monday. (He was due off 3 weeks so he has alot of questions to ask given he's been rota'd in after 2weeks). I dunno how I'll manage. I was fine with Jackson but that was just one! I also have just enjoyed having him about so has Jackson.

Anyway little man was weighed last Friday and was 7lb 10, reweighed on Tuesday and was 7lb 11 now under HV and weighed Friday and he's now 8lb 7 oz. He was 8lb exactly at birth so we are doing well. Over all a 5% drop in weight since birth so quite pleased.

Hope you are all getting on ok! Some scrummy babies about.

Awww Russell how cute. My little one is 3 weeks now too and colicky too. Which feeding bottles do you use? I am thinking of getting the Tommee Tippee anti colic bottles..wonder if they are any good. Is everyone exclusively breastfeeding or having to top up with formula?

I got the tomee tippee ones because I got the perfect prep and steriliser etc but we recently tried out the mam ones and they seemed to leak less and he doesn't gulp so reduces wind. I've not tried the TT anti colic tbf. We have just been riding it out. He's alot better than last week any time he was awake he just cried lol. He seems more chill this week. We have been persistent with the infacol since Monday so think it may be helping although if he gets any worse or any reflux symptoms I am considering the easy digest milk. We are just seeing how we go atm. I haven't used my perfect prep as he is only taking 3oz every 3hr so it be a waste each time plus we have started making it up stirring in a cup then slowly pouring to avoid any bubbles. Seems to help as before I shook the bottle before serving and he would be in agony afterwards.

It's not so bad because we haven't left the house it's nursery runs I'm worried about because he's either grouchy when we need to go out or needing fed lol.

Im exclusively breastfeeding atm but have had to top up with expressed breastmilk. In hospital the mw topped up twice with formula but managed not to at home. I love the tommee tippee range but I find their teats awful, im gonna go hunt online for different ones. What about you?

My little girl has lost a lot of weight since birth, so we are back in hospital for observation. She has had tests done and there is nothing medically wrong with her. I don't think my milk is good enough on its own, I think it's mainly due to me still being anaemic from the birth. I lost a lot of blood xx

My lb lost a lot of weight too we ended up staying an extra 48 hours due to him losing too much after 3 day check. Has your lg got jaundice or anything? They said it was more than likely due to that as he is working extra to clear it, he was really sleepy on his first day too. Hope shes okay and its just a bit of catching up! Are you expressing at all to increase supply in between feeds and to supplement feeds? Ive also ended up anaemic after birth. Its probably contributed to my problems too with breastfeeding! I didn't even consider that

She did have very mild jaundice when she was born, but not severe enough to treat it. It seems to have gone now. I'm going to buy an electric breast pump to keep my supply up xx

Good luck ellsbells, hopefully things happen quickly for you! Just remember no matter how long it takes there's only 1 outcome from here and you won't be leaving til that baby arrives

Incredibly bored in hospital! Getting very tired, contractions coming every 5 mins or so just not that strong just very uncomfortable! Propess pessary has made everything down below swell so going for a wee has been agony! Being monitored again due to reduced movements & will be examined again the morning, let's hope I get some progress in the night! Hope you're doing well too cookie!! Xx

Oh Cookie and Ells Bells hope things have all kicked for you both! My induction failed after the pressary, drip and waters being broken! I totally know how boribg it is! I contracted the whole tine too, hope yous are getting cuddles.

Awww Slhrk she's adorable! My lb is sooo alert ar night and sleeps anytime theres visitors, cheeky monkey. Im not getting much sleep at all

Hope things are progressing well for all ladies being induced. I dialated 2cm with the pessary and things moved fast after waters was broken. I was on the drip for just a short while and i was having 5 contractions every 10mins so they switched the drip off. And i went from 6cm to 10cm in half hour. All the best to you all

Anyone else just cracking up breastfeeding? I feel its all i do. Is it just constant cluster feeding always? Haha just so blooming tired, my lb wants to be on me constantly, only sleeps in my arms that's it. Im exhausted. Ive an infection from c section wound which isnt helping matters either
