Congratulations ladies on those that have had their babies! Us October mama's are off to a flying start I'm 2 days away from my due date! Booked in for a sweep next Monday and worse case scenario have been booked in for induction on the 23rd October. Feel a lot more relaxed knowing I have a plan in place, so instead of trying to urge him out I'm just trying to enjoy these last few days/weeks as much as possible still bouncing on ball though and doing lots of walking to hopefully make delivery smoother!

I hope we're all doing well and are not getting too fed up! xxx

Thought I was away last night!! Was bouncing on the ball til 1 in the morning, and have had very mild period pains in my back all day yesterday.. so got into bed and had a pain, thought nothing of it and 10 minutes later.. another! So every 10 minutes for an hour they came, then started to go irregular and less strong. Also had 2 episodes of adrenaline shakes which I found really really weird?! I was shaking so uncontrollably, any ideas what that could be? Haha. Anyway here I am on day 4 overdue and back to square one! Tomorrow better come quick xx

Hurrah, finally had my little surprise bundle yesterday morning at 2.04am, he was 17 days overdue and was after 3 days of induction.
Samuel Blake Gegg 8lb 10Oz.
Couldn't be happier with him.

Mac I have been having irregular contractions too. Cervix was still high on Sunday too. Hope your feeling better. Ells I am doing the same thing just trying to enjoy resting.

Loosing all hope this baby is going to be here on her own. Now 5 days post due date, had irregular contractions from 6 til 8 this morning then bloody show at 11, so was really happy thinking that when I got to the hospital today it would be good news and something would be happening! Cervix is soft, but still posterior so she was unable to perform a sweep. I'm now booked in for induction on Monday.. but words can't even begin to describe how gutted I am. Been a lovely pregnancy so far, every time there's been an issue it's been a positive outcome! For it to end with me feeling like this is a real kick in the teeth..

Thats so shitty & so disheartening! I'm sorry it's not the news you wanted to hear hun! Unless babe decides to make an appearance on their own this weekend, at least you can think of it as enjoying your long weekend now before your induction Monday! Definitely something exciting to start next week off!

It's my due date today! And have been experiencing irregular contractions (I think) over the last 24 hours, I've been up since 3am with awful insomnia, now wide awake downstairs with a brew lol! Have quite bad back pain, but unsure as to whether this was because I spent most of yesterday on the birth ball, now I've almost got a 'sore abs' feeling radiating over the whole of my bump, wouldn't really class it as 'pain', but definite discomfort! I'm hoping this may be a few good signs, but not holding out much hope!

I hope you all are feeling well and not getting TOO fed up! The end is nigh ladies xxxx

Thanks hun! Really not sure what's happening with me.. had irregular contractions every 10-15 minutes for 3 hours now, they are strong enough to wake me up cause I'm shattered and can't snooze anymore because of them haha. Also after my bloody show yesterday I have had another last night and 2 more this morning.. and it's definitely not the bleeding from my internal as that wasn't jellied blood like this.. sorry tmi! I'm really hoping for the best now but still not sure xx

My due date tomorrow I have got induction booked. It was supposed to be next week but consultant brought it forward.

Well as expected my contractions fizzled out, however I went for a bath this afternoon and passed more "bloody show" ..it was the size of the palm of my hand!! So if anything is going to happen i would be hoping for it soon. Booked in for induction on Monday so won't be any longer than that. Xx

Yay lots of plans for everyone so exciting. Yes starting me off tomorrow, had sweep today and got back ache. Really hope I can start naturally tonight!

Well guys! After coming to the labour ward on Thursday morning at 2:30am with contractions 4 minutes apart, I was admitted to Delivery suite as my cervix was 2cm dilated and favourable! After 2 further sweeps, morphine at 2 o'clock when I was still 2cm and contractions weren't bad, was to help me sleep! I went to 4cm at 6 o'clock, spent 3 hours in the birthing pool and my little princess Aela was born last night at 9.01 weighing exactly 8lbs! Went 4cm to 10 in less than three hours and only used gas and air as pain relief. To say I'm buzzing is an understatement! Good luck to you all ladies xxxx

After a failed induction Callum Kevin Michael came screaming into the world by c section on 14th Oct 2.47 weighing 8lbs 7oz!
