Still waiting to go to labour ward to get my waters broken. It's so frustrating. I have been having contractions since 12.30pm and bearable so far but getting stronger.

It's official I'm going to be an October mum! Still waiting, over a week overdue,got a sweep planned for tomorrow. Come on lil baby I want to finally meet you!

38 weeks it's going quickly now!

Getting back pains all the time now and going to the toilet a lot hopefully baby getting ready to come out on time!

Hi all. My little prince arrived at 2.42am on the 1st of October. He probably is the first October baby. I am so in love. Had a 9hr labour with epidural and he is so perfect. I cant stop looking at him

Roma had her twin girls September and Jennifer from the fb group not sure of pf. She had her little girl 1st October 2.41 am!!

We have well and truly kicked off October now.

Well done to the new Mummies again.

Hi all, super pleased to announce that I had my beautiful baby boy - Austin Lloyd, last monday (so technically a septmeber baby) 3 weeks and 2 days early. Little man weighed in at 5 pounds 14 and is doing very well

Oh brilliant congratulations!! So happy for all of you with your babies already are yous doing birth stories? If so I look forward to reading them

My BH have stopped in the last week and ive been having irregular contractions. Had a sweep today. It was quite uncomfortable to say the least haha! Im only 1cm dilated but cervix is soft, still long (3cm) so recommend to go on short walks and bounce on ball, got an induction date too! Just over a week to go! Have to go to day unit tomorrow to get blood pressure monitored. Think its only high because ive decided to do a complete clear and clean of house and im nowhere near done!

I'm due on Tuesday but don't think baby will be here by then. Havnt been getting any braxton hicks and my bump is still high! Got midwife tomorrow so hopefully I will get a date for a sweep which I'm not looking forward to. X

Had a sweep today, possibly going in for induction in a week.

Mac that's great news about ur cervix mine is still really long so couldn't do the sweep xx

Due tomorrow and I've still had no pains or anything! Think my bouncing on the birthing ball has helped to bring her down but that's about it haha xxx

Awk sorry to hear due dates are coming and going, cmon Oct babies we were off to a good start!

I know im not even 38 weeks so i feel bad saying it, I lost a bit of my plug today and just the odd pains but nothing really to report. Sweep just gave me serious cramps but that was it. Blood pressure has been a bit iffy and ive had done swelling again. Theyre sending a mw to house tomorrow to check on me and if I have a headache, any extra swelling, pain any sickness at all ive to go straight to maternity.

Hope things start happening for everyone! Get walking and bouncing on those balls!

Hopefully all goes ok for you mac, suppose it's all pointing in the right direction even if it isn't significant changes Hun xx

I've got until Wednesday to get her moving, otherwise it's an induction date for me on Wednesday! Xx
