Nursery decorating not knowing the sex....

Hey all, was just wondering what you ladies are planning on decoarting your nursery's like who are not aware of what sex your babba is...........

I don't want it to 'pretty' but I want it really cute.... does anyone have any ideas or places that do nice stuff?

What about some nice cream and beige wallpaper with a teddy bear border or something? I'm finding out the sex but am having this either way x

Yeah thats a nice idea Shauna.. cream sounds good.. I like the cath kidston stuff but it's really for girls....

Even though we've been told we are probably having a boy, I'm going to decorate in neutral colours with maybe some sort of animal theme or something like that.

its still to early for us to know the sex (oh wants to plan so wants to know) but ive got the room completely set out in my head, firstly i need to strip of the wallpare and re-do it then its going to go a pastle coffe colour, want the room to feel warm without being gender oriantated!

I had the 'i love my bear' collection wiv my last baby cos we didn't know the sex,u can buy wallpaper,border or stickarounds so can have as much or as little as u like xx

When we had Joseph we didn't know if he was a boy or girl before he arrived. We painted the walls in a mid yellow colour to keep it warm but neutral & then put a Mamas & Papas border called Poppy & Mustard up & bought the cot mobile, couple of toys, photo frame, nappy bag & changing mat to pull it together. They do a border called gingerbread man I think & also 2 or 3 others that are suitable for boys or girls. You can pick a neutral colour from the border to paint the walls & then add accessories. Some of the borders & accessories are in the sale at the moment & if you request a catalogue online they add a £5 gift card to get you started.

You can get the fisher price precious planet bedroom wall stickers now. They are cute

AJ has the I love my bear range. Were looking to change it now he's 2.
We got the border and colour matched the bears jumper and the bear for the walls. (sad eh?? )

I'm finding out the sex soon. But I'm going to decorate the nursery with the 'Gingerbread' Range from Mamas and Papas. Won't be able to afford all the stuff from the range but will defo get the border, bedding and curtains. Mum bought me the lovely stripey blanket from the range today which I love and 3 'gingerbread' sleepsuits. Loved this range since I fell pregnant.

What a great choice!!!! The border & a couple of accessories is enough to make the room look lovely & as I said in my post, perfect for a girl or boy. It's a fab collection x

I get emails with £5 off as well, not very often but it's a nice surprise! Gingerbread is lovely. I have some toys and the blanket as my daughter will only sleep under them!!

I really liked the jungle theme,

We didnt find out the sex, but did lemon n lime,2 walls in each, it looks fab, really bright n warm n coz the rooms 13" square its a big room, then got the mothercare jungle bedding, and then when we change it she can pick what ever she wants n not what mummy n daddy like, lol
