NIPT test

Well I've had it done today. I'm anxious enough with this Papp A problem I have to rule out a chromosome issue or I'll be fretting about 2 things.

Just another week and a few days to wait. Scan went well, nasal bone present, baby growing fine, no obvious abnormalities or anything indicative of a chromosome problem.

Fingers crossed this result is just a formality, after all, this baby has been scanned 50 billion times already and nothing untoward has been discovered!!!

I had the NIPT test due to my history and all came back fine. Obv they cant test for everything but they can pretty much rule out major trisomies, aneuplodies etc

Thanks all.. I'm in London at the Olympic stadium today and staying in a posh hotel tonight and tomorrow for my 10th wedding anniversary so that'll keep me busy for a few days at least.

I'm tempted carnat.. I just can't see me going the whole distance without finding out due to all of the extra scans etc. I think she could tell during the scan yesterday. I've ticked no on the report but she said I can ring them up at any time and have then tell me the gender if I change my mind!

Great news! I don't know if I could hold out knowing they had the gender data!! I'd totally cave in my lunch break!
