So asleep at 8.30, up at 11 and then 1 :-/ full of smiles. I come back in from the loo to find lo in the bed laughing and giggling with the oh. Cute but not at 1.45am!!

Off on holiday tomorrow so need some sleep as its a 4 1/2hr drive !

How's the pains. I would whack the tens on now. The sooner the better. I put mine on early and never got to the highest setting.

Off to Weymouth for a week, hope it doesn't rain!

My tens machine was a real distraction - fiddling with all the settings! Although I kept pressing the wrong bit and making it too high lol.

My husband was fiddling with the tens machine when I had it on. He accidentally pressed it on the highest setting. Blinking hurt. He got abuse!

Just woke hubby to put it on. Ooooh the boost was lovely! Like a back massage! I didn't want to leave it too long, as,I know it's more effective if you use it earlier. Pains still very bearable but Defo more significant than earlier. Breathing through them.
It's really really hard to know when to do the pool!!!!

Might have to get up I think as lying down isn't good! Hubby has gone straight back to sleep haha xx

I'm up for first feed yey! she's started to completely miss out the 12/1am feed - its so nice having a 5 or 6 hour stint before having to get up! I feel wide awake but can easily go straight back down was told in my breastfeeding group that when you breastfeed you body releases a chemical that helps you go straight back to sleep at night - amazing! Xx

Well M has just slept from 10:30 - 4 which is lovely! He did begin to wake at 2 but must have decided against it as we both obviously fell back asleep as I wasnt woken again until now! I never knew that breastfeeding thing L.. Most nights I do fall asleep pretty easily actually, but just assumed that was because of the exhaustion haha xxx

This is the fourth time ive had to get him out of his basket now. 3am and again now. Hes so noisy still! I must have managed about an hour and half sleep! Not good as im out tonight n currently feel like crap! Xx

Oh no Kelly! You'll have to try and nap in the day as much as poss ;-(. Have you considered putting him in his room a bit earlier if he's a noisy sleeper? I know lots of people that have done this and their monitor makes them feel happier about it, and they got some sleep!?
My bulk of sleep is always from bed till first feed, it's this next bit which is always tricky and usually ends up being 2 hours long zzzz... Xxx

Ohhh exciting news Umbongo! Gotta love the tens!

Worst night yet. Had tongue tie snipped. So she is proper screaming, constantly, as crying makes her mouth hurt more. I've been trying to feed her but she just keeps screaming as she can't seen to get her tongue down now! So she's not latched for 7hours. Now she's just shut down, its horrible.

Up for the first time tonight, really lovely apparently he took 140ml of expressed at 1.30 but didn't settle til 3, I didn't even hear them come back up! I feel like a new woman! X

Oh hun poor u and poor baby! Have u tried just using a cup? It must be awful I have no idea what else you can do. Only positive is that it should hopefully get better from here for the longer term now you've had it done. Xxxx

Poor Becky as well! Definitely sounds like a growth spurt!

And Sara I was wondering where you were when I was here at 5! Glad you had a lovely long sleep, it makes such a difference doesn't it! Will the oh be doing this on a regular? Xxx

Have considered that claire. Were thinking 6 weeks but may even do it earlier now as its just too much! Hope he will be ok though. If I moved him now would it best to leave him in his basket? Or straight in cot?

I was up at 11.30, 1, 3, 4.30 and 5.15. Then had to cuddle him to get an hours sleep

My eyes are itching!
