T had his first feed at 1030 then went down at 11 woke at 1:15 for a feed then I woke up with him asleep on my chest at 4! I feel amazing but it has scars me that I feel asleep so easily- anyone got any tips for staying awake whilst bf at night?!!!

Agreed. I had to change JJ at the 2am feed into just a vest as he was so sweaty xx

Better night tonight. No 2 hour feeds. 11-11.30. 2-2.45 or something. . Then 4.45 and I just put him back down. He fell back to sleep straight away all three times. Feel happy with that. Although the noises he made in his sleep sounded like he was pushing a big poo out for hours!

Glad it wasn't just me who thought it was really warm! We just let LO sleep in her nappy and swaddle (swaddle blanket is quite thick) but she was boiling too!
Didn't have too bad a night actually. Up between 2.30 - 4 and then again at 6.30. She had two very short feeds while she was awake, I think she gave up cos I had to keep unlatching her and eventually she could no longer be bothered!

Well that was a horrible night! First stint was good 9 - 2.30 but she was up every hour after that!!! She was just having tiny amounts then falling asleep but couldn't wake her. I'm sure she had wind or something she's been straining all night bless her.

Its really hard isn't it?! I've done it once too its such a shock when you wake up. I just make sure I'm sitting up and sit on my phone either on here or play on candy crush! I also open the bedroom and bathroom windows and leave the doors open do there's a bit if a breeze xx

Harrison was up at 2.15-3.15 then 6-6.30 then up at 8.30, not a bad night overall, but have no idea why he didn't settle til 10.45, normally he's out like a light by 8 30!

I had a nearly 2 hour feed at 2am, and then he woke again at 6.. At which point I did a bit of side boob action and let him sleep in the bed after coz I was too tired to attempt to move him! So he was kicking and hitting me in his sleep until 9, so not the best sleep as only came in blocks of 2! Urggh! It's nice to hear the rain today! At least I dont have 'sun guilt' (staying in while its lovely outside) xxx

I've got heartburn being awake for the last 2 hours! Took 3oz and is just being silly he's dad had to get up with him in the feed before :/

That position is too comfy. I always end up snoozing!!

Well tonightd going to be a bit different ladies. (Boobs permitting of course...) OH is going to get up & give expressed milk for the 1am feed so hopefully I won't need to get up til 5, we normally go to bed about 10 so that'll be 7 hours sleep!! Of course H might decide that he only wants boob, or my boobs might wake me up in pain, but that's the plan for now!

Ohh good luck Sara! My boobs are sometimes fined after a long period of time, and sometimes awful so it's pot luck.. Hope you're lucky tonight! Don't have a hot bath or shower before bed as it gets the milk flowing too much xxxx

LO took 3 and a half hours from waking to getting back to sleep at 10.30! I sure hope he doesnt wake for a feed soon. Usually its between 12-1 but last night was 11pm! Hopefully wont be here before 1! Have a good night ladies xx

11.30! No sleep yet! Argh. Dont get why oh says 'do u want me to do it?' Once he has let him get to the point of crying so that I have to get up anyway! If he actually wanted to do it.. surely he would just get up and do it?

After waking at 11.30, I gave him about 10ml and he didnt want more so I lut him back down. He just woke again. At 1.15. But once again he is making so much noise that ive barely slept between the two feeds!

Just busting in on this thread as a pain woke me up. If they carry on I'll have to get up as should try the tens before it gets too bad I think.
Sorry you've not slept much Kelly! Hopefully I'll be officially on this thread before too long doing my night feeds!!! Eeeep!
