NHS Appeal....

Hey ...

I was wondering if anyone knew how I would go about doing an appeal about the outcome of our fetility appointment ...
I am still waiting for a letter from the clinic, it has been 18 days now, thought I would of received one by now.
Any information would be very grateful. Thanks

I don't know sorry - hopefully someone with experience of this will be along soon. If not, I'd suggest going on fertility friends as someone on there should be able to advise. Good luck xx

I would chase up your letter too. Is it paying for the IUIs before the IVF that you are unhappy with? Xxx

Every service should have a patient advice liaison service (PALS). Speak to them? Alternatively write a letter to the chief executive and they have 30 days to respond and investigate your complaint x

Yeah Phonix, I have spoke to a few people and family members who can't get their head around it.
I would rather appeal the decision to be told it is right than sit here doing nothing to find out it is wrong, if that makes sense

If not the telephone number for North of the Tyne PALS is 0800 0320202.

They may be able to advise you further on how to appeal.

The centre for life take ages to send letters. Usually takes them weeks to send me mine.

I finally recieved my letter the other day. Didnt say much to be honest ...
Thanks I will try that number, I have been sending emails to fertility clinci who have passed out concerns to the Doctor we seen and she should be emailing us back. But with Christmas and New Year there is a delay.
But I am no futher forward with the Appeal unfortunately.
