Newbie with a BFP!

Hi all,

I've been nosying around the site for a few weeks now so I thought it would only be polite to introduce myself to everyone. I am 27 and live with my husband and cat in the north east.

I have recently found out that I am expecting, which was a complete shock.

I had stopped taking my pills a year ago but we were avoiding BDing on the days around ovulation. My cycles were really regular so that was an easy thing to do with a bit of body awareness.

Anyhoo... I came back from skiing on 29th January and completely lost track of the days

...and ended up with a BFP on 20th Feb!

I am slowly coming to terms with the situation, the timing isn't great but I'm sure we'll manage around that!

I'm so glad I popped in and read ur post as I go skiing in one week and I am one day late for AF so was starting to worry if I do get a BFP how skiing will effect this but you've just answered it yourself........obviously not at all!!
