Hi everyone,

I'm new to this so bear with me! Been TTC for 13 months without any success. Now away to start Clomid and I'm feeling a bit anxious about that. I've just been on a baby name website, maybe shouldn't have done that cos I'm now all excited !

Hoping to share all my stupid worries and problems with you lot!

I like all the old fashioned kind of names, but think my husband disagrees! My Dad was called Lawson and I really like that name, but can't help thinking it only suits a 50 year old man! And although I'm not pregnant I'm convinced it would be a girl! What about you?

My OH insists we can only have 2-syllable names but for girls we both tend to like names like Lucy, Poppy. Hopefully it won't be a boy, we haven't thought of any names we like for one of them!

Name choosing surely has to be one of the most fun things about having a baby (better than the morning sickness & weird side effects I keep reading about on this forum etc) so I'm sure it's not something you can over-indulge in

I like those names, Lucy and Poppy sound very sweet. Hubby said not to order a baby name book but I did anyway, can't wait for it to arrive! I definately don't want a popular name, have heard some awful names in my job and am now very choosy!!

i love love love Pheobe and thankfully so does hubby!!
now boys names makes my head hurt- i love welsh names - being welsh but hubby being english thinks we cant have welsh names cos people wont be able to spell them!!
i love Iestyn but hubby absolutely hates it!
