Hi,

I'm brand new to this site and have just come off the pill back in January ready to start trying. Is there anyone else in the same boat and looking for buddies on here? Can anyone explain some of the abbreviations too - AF?!

Hi and welcome
I came off the pill back in August but still trying to conceive for baby #1!
I takes a while to get used to all the abbreviations, I was in the same boat lol

AF- Aunt Flo (Period)
TTC - Trying to conceive
BFN - Big Fat Negative (Pregnancy Test)
BFP - Big Fat Positive
O - Ovulation
HPT - Home Pregnancy Test
OPK - Ovulation Predictor Kit
FRER - First Response Early Respone (which is the most sensitive pregnancy test)

That's the most common ones I guess but I'm sure there's more lol
