Hey all this queue jumping...I want my baby next, im a day overdue today and oh my god do i feel it!!!
It's like theres been a massive change overnight.
I didn't think it was possible to get any more uncomfortable & heavy but i do.

Dtaylor, it's not too bad, they insert a couple of fingers and sweep membranes from the neck of the womb. It's supposed to stimulate the hormones that start labour off or something. It does hurt a little but only for a couple of minutes.

Tallulah, Sorry hun, you go for it girl. Have you got fed up of everyone asking now, i know i have. Hurry up babies, we want to meet you!!!

yeah i know what you mean i keep getting texts every morning before 9am asking if i've had him yet, i've already told them i'll let them know when i'm in labour i'm sure they think i'm gonna keep it a secret and tell them in about june time

just got back

not much to report no real change my midwife said she'll do a sweep next week if i want but if i don't want it she'll book me in to be induced thats all if i'e not had him by then so got til next tuesday before they'll start encouraging him out.

got told to try the usual techniques to get him out.

Hi Girls

I'm the same as tallulah73, I was also due on monday and apart from some pains last friday which stopped I havent had any signs since then... its sooo annoying I just want baby out now and am feeling really uncomfortable and getting loads of text messages saying have u had the baby yet.

Hope we all get to have our bubs real soon!

well i had lots of pain last night started having contractions quite far apart and hoped they'd get regular and more often but unfortunately they stopped i'm not sure anyone has told him he's suppose to be here today

Well ladies, i had my sweep this morning and the midwife said the head was engaged although it could pop out again as it is my third pregnancy. I stopped at Sainsburys on the way back and had to walk round really slowly as i had sharp pains low down but they have eased now.
Just have to wait and see if anything happens now!!

just back from the GP - baby is now fully engaged so thats exciting although as he is my 3rd (albeit the last one was 19 years ago) he may pop out again Famous last words from the doctor - he doesnt think I will go over my due date

tried spicy food, pineapple and walking for the last week

midwife told me to tweak my nipples for 20 minutes
