yep me too its like 24 hour labour watch. with every move i'm thinking this is it. i'm spending all my time dedicated to ways to make him get out its ridiculous, every waking hour is thinking about it and i get 20 texts a day saying 'any sign' feel like screaming 'no'

OK ladies lets talk mucus plug.... does it have to be blood stained? I am passing what looks like cloudy egg whites, been seeing little bits for the past couple of days - every time I have that really heavy feeling like baby is about to drop out.... not sure if this is just cm or the start of me losing my plug???

I think it can be clear. I haven't lost mine yet but I know they don't always have blood. I saw a pic of one online ( ) & it was mostly clear.

rom - i dont think the plug has to be blood stained and can also come away in bits. I think I lost a blob of mine on monday evening ..... but i'll ask the midwife when I see here today

mel - I've not been bouncing too hard.... maybe i'm too scared I'll pop my ball!!! haha!

Well, i haven't lost any plug yet and i'm now 1 day overdue AND i had a sweep on Wednesday!! He must be way too comfy in there!

Morning all

No change here, still havent lost any plug and no pains. I WANT PAINS!!!!!

I too am becoming obsessed with getting this baby out its all i can think of, I keep thinking it must be soon as the pressure 'down there' is so immense.

Baby is still moving around loads so i guess is way too comfy in there to come out soon. Someone told me that the movements can decrease when labour is about to begin but not sure how true this is as its my 1st baby??

Yep mines a boy.
Not much to report today apart from really bad backache but i don't think it's down to labour, i think it's just the weight of him.
Im gona have a bounce on my ball and have ANOTHER bath.

Just back from the midwife and head is STILL at the brim

asked midwife about it and she said that it could just be that when i lie down and they do an examination LO pops out.... hmmmmmm i did mention all the pressure i've been having and going to the loo multiple times a night and shooting pains that I feel as if his head is against my cervix and she said it could be that LO is trying to get it.....

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!
