Nearly 4 weeks and still bleeding

My daughter will be 4 weeks old on Tuesday and I still have some bleeding.

It keeps appearing to nearly stop then gets heavier again. I've not had 1 day yet with any bleeding.

Its mainly brown like the end of a period and I only need a light pad or a panty liner but after popping to the shops earlier today it was fresh red again and I needed to put a maternity pad on.

I feel absolutely fine in myself but wondering if I should get myself checked out!

I had heavy bleeding for 6 solid weeks having to wear two maternity pads, one on top of the other and then light bleeding for a further 6ish weeks where only one pad was necessary. I think everyone is different Hun. X

Bled constantly and pretty heavily for 6 weeks, finally had a break of about 2 weeks and then got a period!

I bled heavily for 6 weeks solid even after a c-section, then it stopped for a week and then I had a period. I felt dried up like a bloomin prune lol

Are you breastfeeding hun as that can cause more bleeding. I bled on and off for at least 6 weeks x

My daughter was born over 4 weeks ago and my bleeding is on.and off. It's still red.I thought it had stopped but i have just been to the toilet and its still there bright red when I wiped. Grr it can last up.to 6 weeks though. And I'm breastfeeding. Wish it would sod off its doing my head in.

erm no its not abnormal to still be bleeding at 4weeks.
If you think thats bad i bled 10weeks after my son, 6weeks after my first daughter and only 3weeks with my second daughter.

Are you doing alot hun? After I had my twins, I was doing housework, shopping, school runs etc and the midwife said the more physical activity you do, the longer you bleed. If you're doing alot, just put your feet up and relax, that should help.

I didn't bleed much at all. About 10 days and then it was more discharge. However, I had a really busy day, cooking, walking, scrubbing floor and moving wardrobes and I had a heavy bleed which lasted a day-as in clots. I was told its due to doing too much. I had a csection and was still expecting to bleed loads but didn't but everyone is different. The midwife I asked says it depends on what your periods were like pre pregnancy. If in doubt get checked xx

I've only just stopped bleeding after a c section at 5 and half weeks, I had almost stopped then I had a heavy bleed about a week ago. So I guess it's normal xx

I bled for about 4 weeks, then had like kinda brown blood. End of period blood for a couple of weeks. Then I got my period.xxx
