How often do you all change baby's nappy? It has been suggested I am doing it too frequently. I change his nappy (3 months old) at each feed (5/6 bottles a day) and if he does a poo (0-3 times a day) which rarely coincides with feeds. Does this sound like a lot?

I think DS was going through 6ish nappies a day at that age, sometimes with an additional midnight change if needed, although not often.

All extra nappy changes are doing is costing you more.
Better too often than not enough. Xx

At that age I always changed LOs bum just before a feed and then again if he'd pooped. It was also about that age we stopped changing his bum at night unless he'd pooped. It was rare he'd poo in the night by then anyway.

I'd always rather change often than not enough. It's infrequent nappy changes that can cause things like nappy rash etc.

I always change at every feed which is usually 5-6 times a day, and then if he poo's. My LO is 9 weeks old.

I have recently stopped changing my lo happy at night as he stopped pooing in the night ages ago. I generally change after every feet but my low poos after every feed anyway and feeds around every 2-3 hours in the day.

I think I was changing about every three hours and again if he had a poo. I only change him in the night if he leaks or has a poo, or seems uncomfortable

Same here, every feed and if pooed. I stopped changing through the night unless he had pooed.

3 months old here as well and we change probably every few hours unless she has pooed... and she still poo's a lot. So I could change her and she'll poo an hour later so another change is needed. Then I change her a few hours after that.

Rarely change her at night anymore as oddly she doesn't poo at night.

When we were using pampers we'd be changing nappies frequently mainly because of the smell that pampers give off when he's peed. But now it's always before a feed and if he's pooed

OK great, thanks guys. It sounds as if you're all doing much the same as me. I'll try not changing him overnight as he doesn't poo at night as see how we get on. Very reassuring, thanks!

Exactly the same as you, every feed and poo. Don't let anyone make you doubt yourself! :-)
