Hi girls just wondering which nappies you are all going for? As Asda currently have a Baby & Toddles event on they are selling boxes of both these brands for about £9. I thought it would be a good idea to stock up while they are on offer but not sure which to go for.

Any recommendations / advice?

We have both! Lol! And tesco's own too! Talk about mix and match! No help on which is best yet though as I can't remember what I used for DD!

I have huggies, pampers and tesco, my brother has a 3 week old and had to switch from huggies to pampers as they kept leaking, maybe down to user error but we are opting for more pampers now and if u have vouchers from the pampers village you can get an extra 75p off the boxes so £8.25.

To be honest I found pampers were terrible with my wee girl. Huggies were definitely better but tesco's own were hands down the winner :)

I THINK asda own brand are pretty good too and they are 2 for £9 and you get 3 or 4 extra nappies!

my friend used different with her girl and boy think it was huggies for girl and pampers for boy o think so it may depend what fits your babys shape the best x

that makes sense huggies didnt suit my nephew so may be a boy thing

I've got both but used to find pampers better when I had DD but this was years ago!!

We started with huggies newborn which were fine but had to move up for more absorbancy rather than size, then we went on to pampers which I found were great. I then tried tesco's own and the only problem was that I kept trying to put them on backwards as the colours seem to be the opposite way around from the pampers same size. At the moment we have a mix of pampers and huggies natural fit and I definately prefer the pampers. They seem to be a much softer material and more generous in the right places. I've got some reusables I'm going to try for daytimes soon!!

I've just stocked up on Pampers super dry! but will have to get some more. might just get tescos ones though as I aint really that bothered about brands.

in my opinion you cant beat pampers i have used huggies but i find the leak the crystals and are not that great to be honest i cant say anything about tesco brands though as i have never used them i like to stick with what i know lol

PAMPERS WIN everytime for me

Personal preference! I've used both in the past but i prefer Pampers!

I recent father at my work told me to use Pampers, said the Huggies leak all the time. Since it sounds like a few of you have heard / experienced the same, there might just be something in that.

I've got some of both, they're what I had to buy to get the various freebies from Mother and Baby clubs. Only intend to use then for the few couple of weeks, until I have more of an idea what I'm doing, then I'm hoping to change to washables. The money is just too tight for me to waste any on being pooed on!

I've had problems with Huggies leaking, so out of the two I prefer Pampers although I think they're far too expensive unless they're on offer. We mostly use Tesco's own, they've never leaked, Cahal seems to be very comfortable and they're cheap as chips!
