The midwife is being called in an hour or so Then commences the begging lol. I actually found a leaflet about induction at my hospital last night! So at least I know whats going to happen now lol. Not going to tell the midwife that on the phone though. Just going to say I know nothing and want some info (and a sweep of course).

She best give you a sweep lol

do you have any of the surestart drop in centres near you? I go to one a few miles from me as there's a midwife drop-in service where they're more than happy to give you a sweep if you're full term or over, no need to make an appointment either - I'm about to head there now to get my bp checked for the millionth time...good luck with your midwife!

I know my 'SIL' went to a drop in clinic when she was pregnant (due 3 days before me....had her baby over 2 weeks ago lol) but not sure whether that was the same thing. She also said it was on fridays....Humm. How would I find out if there was one in my area?
