My update thread

Ok, so figure Im going to have a thread and that will be my updates...if any, before Wednesday.

For all who don't already know...Im currently 9 days overdue. *sigh*

So far, Ive had 2 nights of contractions that then fade away during the night and Ill wake up and theyre gone. Last night though, I only had a couple of painful tightenings and it all faded away pretty quickly.

Ive lost all my appetite, and forcing food down really, not sure if its a sign on labour, but figure Id list um all. Ive also had a very close connection to my toilet past 3 days, and I feel this trend will carry on lol.

I had some hope this morning, as I woke up several times in the night and felt quite 'sticky' down there, but thought nothing of it. Then when I went to the loo, Id started loosing my plug (!), and although it was still clear, no blood , I dont care because its a start! Ive also had a constant cramp since waking up and still feeling sticky all the time, so just going the loo every 5 minutes. Its all very fun lol.

I have nothing else to do with my time at the moment so Ill keep you all updated!

I dont think Im going to get to see my midwife until Tuesday now, so if I want her out before then, its all up to me! Might do a bit of bouncing in a minute.

So far its been me, ria and meeah that have waiting far too long for our babies. Really hope kiwi and evajo dont follow suit. Deffinatly try get your baby out on time...waiting is torture lol!

Hehe! It's awful now - I don't know how i'll cope if I go over! lol! Everyone's just started up on the "Have you had him/her yet?" now too which just makes it drag. Keep saying, if I had a £1... They don't normally ask again! Idiots! I'll be cracking skulls if i'm still getting asked in 2 weeks! Haha!

Get bouncing away! I dunno why but i've some sort of feeling that your little girl's gonna come before Wed x

I think day 10 is a popular day for babies to arrive once their late. Im holding out hope for day 10 ...obviously day 9 would be better lol, but Ill accept day 10.

You are doing so well Melio and staying so upbeat! If one more person asks me "so...any news yet" I won't be responsible for my actions! Even my mum texted me this morning asking if there'd been any developments. My "had the baby last night, 5 mins pushing and now I'm just enjoying a cup of tea" response was perhaps a little sarky!

Hopefully its the start of things my sister was saying she started loosing her plug and 2 days later her son came and with her 2nd she lost her plug whilst she was in labour so may be a very good sign x

Haha bless you kiwi. Ive been thinking of you! You had any developments? Almost a week over now for you. I swear it goes quick. Wednesday seems overly close now. Although I think thats because I really dont want to be induced and so its flying round quickly. A friend has had her baby on her due date today, and she had a midwife appointment booked, so Im hoping that the midwife will be able to slot me into her place! (the joys of living in a small town lol) So want a sweep today. Im feeling positive.

becks Im hoping Im one of those people that will go into labour the same day lol. I know its unlikely, but at 9 days over...I swear if I peed a little extra longer than normal, Id think it was a sign!

Well i just remembered i was due for induction on the wednesday but i had my daughter the friday before at her own accord! Would be good if you do have your little one today x

aw really feeling for you my dd was 10days over it just seems an eternal wait go plan a day out or lunch out for tomorow kids always stuff up anyplans!! lols

Well since going overdue, I dont think Ive spent the day in the house lol. Shes taking her sweet time and loving every minute of it! Im staying in today, so maybe she'll realise that today I have nothing to do, so she can arrive later, nicely in time for the weekend

Im very excited about the gas and air. I think FOB is as well. My poor mother is going to have to deal with us both bless her. Unfortunatly I wont be as polite lol...Ill be too excited and text you at every twinge! Could be an idea to turn the volume down on your phone if Olivia is asleep
