yes but you forgot the most improtant thing  NAPPIES and loads of them i'd sugest stocking up   and not only with newborn nappies but with a few sizes up too cas they grow so quickly :D

And....

You must be due around the same time as me, June? I dont think you'll need a newborn snowsuit. I didnt have one for my son and he was born in April.

Keep your eye open in places like asda, they often do baby events where you can get tommee tippee sterlisers half price and they do some good deals on bumper boxes of pampers.

i would double to amount of bottles hun as a newborn can have anything between 6-10 bottles a day and youll be frever washing and steriling them if you only have a few
also id get more sleepsuits if thats what they are going to be in mostly as they seem to get threw them very quickly and youll need 2 clean a day.
other then that i think you have got everything :)
xx

Jazzmum, look out for nearly new/second hand stuff too, you'll save yourself lots of pennies. Enjoy your shopping

Would you say thats about right?

No totally wrong. Unless have loads of money to burn!!!! I dont know what shops youre basing this on but how can you afford all this when most married working people dont even spend this amount?

I would be going round the charity shops and stocking up on things more 50p for a jacket not £10.
They are only in them at most for 12 weeks.

babies dont need half the stuff on your list.
I would look at it again and se what you can do without and what you can realistically afford, and bear in mind that most of that stuff isonyl going to be used for 12 weeks then you have the next 12 weeks to buy for etc.

EBAY FTW!!!!

£150 for a cotbed?? - i got Jams for £48 brand new inc delivery so never underestimate the 'bay lol

go thru the list and pick out ur bare necessities, be frugal and ur money will go further, dnt spend on silly odds and sods cos ul only get annoyed when u need somethin like nappies or formula and uv jus spent a tenner on a blankie lol - trust me, iv done that before lol

you have to be 18 to join ebay, plus youre going to do worse than going to charity shops once youve added in post and packing, its npt so cheap then.

You also dont need shoes for a baby and not for £10. It's just wasting needed money better spent on something else really.

All the things would be nice on your list and would be lovely to buy new but is it realistic in your circumstances?

Try Scope, I find they are he best priced and I've picked up tons of great items all under £1 and got 3 black bin liners full of clothes already for up to 1year old for next to nothing.

My dads giving me quite a bit of money for christmas. Over £1000.
But yeah I think I have gone a bit ott with the money prices :)
Iv just looked on ebay and seen some fag cots.
My mum works on ebay so she said anything I wnat to buy shell get for me,
Also my familly are giving me bits and bobs from there children.
I guess Im just a worrier that I wont have enough things for it.

I'm maybe just missing them but a pram and car seat etc?

To be honest you'll not need every single thing on that list, but with your 1st baby you tend to go overboard I know I did and ended up not even using hlf of it!

Iv already bought the pushchair, and its a travel system so its got a car seat with it :)
Yeah I think ill be going a bit over bord

Yeah but its fun to make lists of things you might need  I've done this and then thought of the things I would actually "need" rather than everything - I'm a list addict though!

Its SO easy to push, and you push one button and it all folds down, it also has a tempeture shower on the handle so you can see how cold it is outside.
I love it.
It might not be the best looking but its really sturdy.
:D

Yes I really like that! I'd going on my list of maybes  (there i go again with lists  )

Haha iv got a scrap book coming along. 4 pages for prams and i stick picture sof the ones I like in there.
