Just wanted to wish all the best for your daughter and your family, MC is an awful thing to happen. Fingers crossed for her that everything is okay x

She has an appointment on the 30th at the hospital, they want her to do a pregnancy test to be sure & told her to make an app thru GP to get referred to a recurring miscarriage clinic, so she has that booked for april 2nd. Thanks to everyone who gave advice & support, much appreciated :) xxxxx

So far all she's had is like a very light period with occasional cramps, nothing like the previous 2 M/Cs. She had a scan on thursday, they couldnt see the sack xxxx

I am guessing they think it will happen naturally.

If anything shows up on 30th then maybe they'll have to consider medical intervention?

Mine took 3 weeks to occur (I was seen and scanned twice every week until it happened) I was never given the option of medical help BUT I guess had it not happened naturally I would have been

Hope she is OK Dawn

Thanks honey, will make sure she realises it may not be over just yet as i think she thinks everything has already come away - we're not expecting anything on the 30th, they've told her not to have unprotected sex before then (for obvious reasons) and she said the nurse said if she wants to go ahead with tests no sex at all ... lol i think that's the last thing on her mind! I am very grateful for your help & advice Carnat, it makes a difference to hear things from someone who's actually been thru the same, thankyou :) xxxxx

So sorry to read this - she is lucky to have such a caring and supportive mum. I know asprin is used to thin the blood so maybe this relates to what Carnat22 said about having 'sticky blood' when she talked about the four tests at the start? Fingers crossed for a successful pregnancy this year. xxx

Yep - I was told before my tests that if there was an issue with my blood being sticky I'd have been put on blood thinning drugs (probably injections though and not baby asprin depending on severity!)

Luckily it never came to that!
