God, I'm gutted.
We let them all out (three of them) at 5am and my boy kitten (well, he's 9 months) hasn't been seen or heard since.
We have both been in tears and have been out searching all day. He's microchipped so we've logged that he's missing, but it's just so out of character for him not to come home - I am starting to think the worst :-(
x

Oh no! Jenny, I am so sorry!
This must be awful, our old cat Lucy went missing once and we were out all night searching for her, knocking on all the doors, calling her and nothing BUT then she came back on her own.
Sometimes they just wonder off and come back when they are ready.
You have done the right thing by logging that he is missing. Do you have a cat flap?
If not maybe you could make a hide away type bed in the garden with a blanket, some water and some food then maybe he will be curled up in there in the morning?

Oh no! My heart goes out to you! My cat is my third baby! Keep hope. My cat disappeared for 24 hours last winter and I was devastated and spent hours looking for him! He finally came home rather sheepishly when it went dark again! Hope your kit comes back soon x

im so sorry to hear that :hugs: my friends cat came back after 9 month, my mums cat has been gone twice, about 2 month at the time so dont loose your hope :hugs:

Thank you, no Rach we don't have a cat flap :-( normally though as soon as they hear the back door open they come running.
Hoping he's just off being a tinker somewhere  Please God...

Thanks as well Helen, we do keep hearing lots of reassuring stories x

I hope you find him soon! *hugs*

Seriously try the bed idea, he may be inclined to take refuge in a dry place that smells like home :)

:hugs:
My friends cat came wondering out of the pub a week after he went missing and their dad just picked him up and took him back to his house. He often goes for wonders now but always comes back after a few days xx

OHHH NOOO!!!
I cant bare to let my kitty out, hes nine months old as-well.
Hope he comes home soon. When i had out door cats i used to stand in the garden shouting their names at the top of my voice while shaking a box of their cat biscuits, that used to get there attention. Hope he finds his way home chickxxxxxxx

Oh god, my boy cat went missing for 4 days so I asked around the neighbours and one of them had been feeding him (idiot!!) then decided to take him to the animal rescue when he wouldn't go away!! xx He's home now tho xx

Hope he's home soon Hun one of mine went missing for a night 3 weeks ago soon as i opened the door the next morning she came running in like nothing had happened! xx

Ah no! try not to panic, my kitten was about same age and ran off, he was gone 6 weeks and we went searching for him all night! he came back on his own everntually. Off doing w.e but was fine. They say at that age they do this sometimes! He may have even gone in some ones shed to go to sleep and got accidently locked in. Im sure hes fine :) Dont panic, your pregnant!!:hugs:xxx

One of my cats disappeared for 3 weeks before she came back, she'd just been getting fed off someone else and had holed up with them for a few weeks. Another of my cats went missing for a 24 hours and then turned up, think she'd just been for an adventure. He might just be stuck in someone's garage or off on an adventure of his own, hope he turns up soon x

One of our cats when I was younger got shut in a neighbours garage when they went on holiday for two weeks. Male cats have a tendency to roam too & at 9 months they're nosey & curious & can wander. Don't worry (easier said than done), but I'm sure they'll be home when they're tired & hungry enough.

Big hugs

He emerged last night just after we had gone to bed (me crying my eyes out thinking I couldn't go to sleep without him!)
Hubby said he heard the next door neighbour come home & perhaps he had been stuck in their house!
Anyone, he's home now, thank God! X

so glad he is home :) is he nuetured? if not get him done it can stop him roaming and fighting

Glad he's home safely. Like I said they are just so nosey & get into places without people realising! They are such cheeky little sods. I came downstairs this morning to find my two have raided the kitchen cupboard & eaten a full bag of catnip drops during the night (bag torn apart). Needless to say they didn't want breakfast! Tummy ache serves them right!!!

Awww what a relief!! So glad he's home safe! I used to have 2 cats, but one died 6 months ago and now I just have 1. She is 4 years old and has never left the house in her life - it's her choice, she's just too timid and gets scared whenever she hears a noise. My other cat was a real wanderer and used to cause me so much worry, but this one is great as I always know she is safe - plus I don't feel guilty for keeping her in cause it's her choice!! xx
