I agree with Sarah.
To return things you don't want they have to be in the original condition and therefore have tags on. But if you just look embarrassed, explain you cut the tags then put it on and discovered it was too small then hopefully they will exchange it for you.

I have to say that I have never had a problem returning things.. to get an exchange or a refund even if Iv cut the tags off. As long as Iv had the receipt.

yeah I think i'll explain that OH decided it would be a good idea to buy a winter coat, but it was also a good idea to a) not try it on b) not buy the right size and c) remove the tages before trying it on at home lol and promise ill never leave my OH to do the clothes shopping again ha ha

ive exchanged stuff before with the tags cut off as said before they only tend to be funny if you demand cash back.and in my experience mothercare have always ben quite good.

Should be fine I always just take receipt and the tags if I still have them even if their not attached...
