i just have a plastic cheap thing from asda :)
if its just a musty smell could you not get some of those smelly things you put in your knicker drawers and that to stop it smelling musty? maybe that would be cheaper then getting a whole new basket as you may have the same issue with the clothes sitting there for a few days
xx

 you can't see mine... its buried underneath all my washing!

I have a £1.50 cheapie plastic one from Wilkos! It's a bit broken though does the job.

This is mine, i got it out a local paper along with another one for £8 (i think) the pair about a year ago.

I have a stainless steel one, did come with a fabric lining but i washed it once and havent put it back on
I tend to do a wash a day due to OHs work clothes. So the basket i near enough empty every other day or so.

Are you chucking in wet or damp towels/clothes as this will make the whole basket smell musty and damp. If so maybe get a seperate basket for your wet items i would say preferably plastic as this is wipeable and wont absorb any dampness iykwim :)
