More babies

I had really bad problems having Amy and i said i would do it again just once more as i didn't want Amy to be an only child and i had the same problems having Jack.
I am definately not having any more but i am so glad i did have another even though it was an up hill struggle from start to finish.
Amy loves Jack and i'm glad it will give her someone to grow with.

I know lots of people who have only had 1 and its each to there own, OH's mum had 7 and they were all boys!!

I am so broody it's wrong!! I want several more, despite all of the sleeplessness etc. I am mad! Trouble is I am 30 so I have to get a move on! At the moment I want to wait until next Spring to TTC though as I want to lose the weight and also my OH is going back to university for a year and will be commuting from Bristol to Cardiff so I don't fancy having to do all of the newborn stuff and looking after Mel without him about. I am thinking of about 3 at the moment but we'll see I guess! We neither of us thought we'd be keen on babies and always looked forward to having older kids. How wrong we were.

I was a single child and suffered a lot from that! (though it's not my parent fault, my mum had 3 miscarriages! )

So I want another baby, little brother or sister for mahen, but I am also 30 already so should do it quite soon! Having said that, even if I did not have major problems during preganncy and labour, i am a bit scared to do it all over again, coz, I feel i got away with it quite well the first time, and I am scared too suffer the 2nd time round! Also, when it's the first time, you don't know what to expect, so it makes it interesting, and even if you have problems, you keep looking forward to new stuff, but the 2nd time round, you know more or less what's coming up, so it's not that exciting....I think!

no more for me I feel like Sarah love Matthew to bits and wouldnt be without him and he's such a good baby now, but the thought of sleepless nights and having to deal with a small child at the same time makes me feel ill!!! Pregnancy i could do again and poss even labour but no thanks i'm happy with what i have. I was an only child and i cant say it made any difference to me I wouldnt have half of what i do if i had a sibling as my mum and dad would have had to think twice about giving me cash for a house and car and everything else

I'm broody and have been since Rubie was 3 weeks old, in fact when Jack was born (Yvonnes baby).

I would have loads more if it were up to me but OH is 41 now and has 4 kids including Rubie so he says 1 more is my limit. The only reason I am waiting to TTC is to make it easier for me, I don't want 2 kids under 3 if possible.

I think we must be gluttons for punishment or something! No pain no game! I completly understand where your coming from Yvvone and feel the same re pregnancy etc BUT I cant help but want another, im just so scared as my pregnancy was soo bad I get flashbacks and really do feel a shivver. The labour is terrifying too but at least it's over in 24hours! mind you then the after pains etc start!

Im just going to have to take that risk I suppose, the force is too strong! I think this time next year, would like bit longer but we're knocking on.

If you didnt have Jack then would have wanted another?
PLEASE tell me the 2nd is better than the first...!

Both Amy and Jack were planned, its just i have problems from start to finish and after to. I wanted a sibling for Amy then thats it and I'm sticking to it.

It's not the babies that are the problem its medical reasons for me, i'd have 4 if i had it a bit easier.

Did you have the same probs with both? maybe adopt...

I had SPD with them both during pregnancy (very painful and was worse with Jack) i had water infection after water infection and thrush (also very painful) and retained placenta which caused major bleeding and operations. i had that with both but Jack's took 2 weeks after to come to light and it will happen with all my babies!

It's not worth it, i have my 2 babies and you can't get a different sex than a boy and girl
