Hi melly that's me home and resting, bit groggy from the anaesthetic and a bit crampy but all well otherwise. Hope ur ok x

Sounds like it went ok? Hot water bottle helps! You will feel groggy for a bit! I was lucky as had local. Im ok....still bleeding a bit. Thought it had stopped but started again this pm and had a couple of kidney bean size clots (sorry tmi!). Just need to remind mysrlf to be patient! Its not been 2 weeks yet! Rest up this pm and hopefully youll feel less groggy later/tom....it was nice to give my kids a big hug afterwards....even though they had no idea what id been through! Enjoy a cuddle with Ruby later.....oh and you OH! X

Yes all went ok and was straight forward. Ruby is more concerned that they put a needle in my hand haha. Hopefully it is finishing up for u and that's y it's only in the pm. It's early days and it will happen for u soon x

Bless her! Still passing few small clots....think its normal...alrhough Dr said she had got everything! I wonder if it is the uterine wall coming away?? Either way no dtd for us later! Gutted as fancied a bit of nooky! Haha! Its been 2 weeks now since dtd!

Hope any post procedure bleeding clears up for you quickly. Have you got a couple of HPT's to take in the next few days? Ive turned into a poas freak again.....urggghhh! Hope you are feeling less groggy? Just think in next 2 or so weeks you could be ttc....lets hope it goes quickly! X

It could be the wall. They told me it was a blind procedure so could be some clotting for a while. Haha I no what u mean it's only been a week and it's killing me! The midwife said infront of my husband use protection until your first period and I was like don't listen to her haha he is all worried now. Feel less groggy now although had an almighty pain in my left side thankfully it has passed now. My bleeding is quite light ATM hardly anything when I wipe which is weird x

Fingers crossed it will stay light! Glad pain has subsided for you. I was told i didnt gave to wait for af...just when bleeding stops....you had mca rather than d & c didnt you? If it stsys light hopefully you could ovulate a bit sooner....worth keeping an eye on things! Im still bleeding a little....usually when i wipe....not more clots since earlier but wonder if it was because i went for a run....they say its not harmful and can help take mind of things....just going to sit tight and hope it stops soon and get the positive opk. Tell your OH to read the new research re: not waiting for cycles....it was conducted in aberdeen and alot of Dr's now use that has guidance as this might reassure him. When youre ready and bleeding stops you should definately get down to business!! fingers crossed it will be sooner than you think x

Yes I had the same as u. That is probably y u have maybe just overexerted yourself try and take it easy tonight and tomorrow. I'm hoping as I don't get heavy period this won't be heavy although I am probably being optimistic lol. O don't worry I said to him u want another baby too so none of this waiting around stuff haha think he is just worried about my body but I no what is right for me and it is really helping me through. Took a test tonight and obviously it was still postive but I am photographing them to see if they get lighter x

I only have light periods too...ususlly light and last 3 days! Last time i bled like this was after giving birth! Youre right though, you do know your body.....im going to put feet up tonight (other than cooking dinner later!) and will lay off running for a few days i think! Its a shame as it helps take mind of things but probably need to hang up running shoes for a few days. Its half term the end of next week.so off to isle of skye so this will be a good distraction. Will be in our campervan so interesting dtd if we need too!! Especially with kids in the pop up roof! Have to wait until its pitch black and theyre fast asleep!! I hope its windy up there so the campervan rocking wont be put of place haha!! Should get internet reception so will keep in touch as will be keen to find out how things are going for you. Still got 6 days left at work before we go (we are off a week on thursday....yayy!). Are you off over half term? Planning on doing anything.....apart from the obvious!

I no what u mean I used to run too and it is great for clearing the head. Just give yourself a few days and then get back it. Oo that sounds lovely I am very jealous of u living in Scotland as I have always wanted to go there lol. The days away should help relax u and u never no why will happen haha here is hoping for the wind!! We don't have half term here until the start of November so no plans yet although it is Ruby's birthday in three weeks and we have that to look forward to. Glad u want to stay in touch as I feel like we have become good friends x

Definately want to stay in touch. I also feel weve become good friends. November half term...thats late! Mind you up here every holiday is early. We break up for summer usually 24/25th june then schools go back mid august. Was born and lived in England but moved to Scotland 3 years ago....it is beautiful up here despite the weather!! Although sometimes can come in handy (that wind! ) will Ruby be 7? My son was 12 last week...cant believe how time flies....wish the next week or two would! I do miss England sometimes, but Scotland feels like home now! Hope you are relaxing?? I also hope you sleep well...i think i did the night after my mva x

No sorry she will be 6 I always say she is 6 already as it's so close, I keep forgetting she isn't already! I live in Northern Ireland and we break on 30th June until the 1st September then half term is Halloween which isn't too bad. I'm sure u do miss home and especially your mum. How r u feeling today? I had a good nights sleep still hardly any bleeding and (sorry tmi) it's quite watered down blood. No pains last night or today so I am optimistically thinking it is going to go ok but who knows x

Thats what i do. I always say the kids are 12 or 10 before they actually are!

Im really glad you had a good night sleep and the bleeding is minimal and no pain!....so far so good. Fingers crossed it stays minimal. Mine pretty much did apart from the clots yesterday and slighlty heavier bleed in first couple of days!

Wow! The kids in NI have a long summer holiday! I do miss mum...
My Dad died 17 years ago. She does visit regularly and usually for a couple of weeks which is lovely!

Yes but I think u get a half term in may? Our kids r in from Easter until end of June with no break that's y they get longer in the summer. Sorry to hear about ur dad but it's nice ur mum visits so often. Has ur bleeding settled this morning? I keep panicking incase I can't get pregnant agin but no it's just my emotions playing with me m. This whole process is a rollercoaster x

No we dont get may week up here. The rest of holidays are the same as england or slighty earlier. We also only get 2 days in feb not a half term week!

Bleeding has settled...but it is always non existent till pm so expecting it to come back ltr! Must be after being busy during morning. It settles late eve too when i have my feet up and relaxing!

Ive had similar thoughts/fears about ttc again but find the success stories helpful as it gives me hope! You are probably way younger than me so that will work in your favour! Being 42 i have the added complication of the chances of ttc are significantly lower so have to contend with that! However, like you said before what will be will be. I feel lucky to have 2 kids so must be thankful. I just cant bring myself to accept i might never have kids again! Im very hopeful for you...i reckon it will happen quickly for you...fingers crossed x

Will be looking for rainbows for us both when on isle of skye!

That sounds about right if u doing work etc in the morning it could make it heavier in the afternoon.

Actually I had read somewhere that as u get older you can be more likely to conceive as some people release two eggs at a time then to try and get pregnant before the menopause(not that u r anywhere near that!) so u just never know. My aunt is 39 and just had a baby there in January after a few months of trying!

I am 27 we met in school so were married at 21 and had Ruby, all very early but no regrets
I am just pottering about the house today before returning the work tomoro x

Well im trying to jump on the band wagon of increased fertility after mc so hoping it happens. Its good to hear older women having healthy pregnancies. The only issue about releasing 2 eggs is older women are at an increased risk of conceiving twins! My DH has identical twin older brothers so there is a chance! I wouldnt mind...be hard work but millions do it!

Glad youre taking easy today. I felt a bit tearful day after so hope youre ok l. Although at work, i have a free morning. Have one meeting 1-2pm then going home so probably be skivving and lurking on the thread throughout the morning. Also have opk with me to sneak off to do at 12!! X

Haha that's true I don't think I could cope with twins! Our house certainly isn't big enough for two more lol. That's good u have a nice easy morning u will have to let me know how ur test goes. I am fed up of being stuck home so I'm looking forward to getting started at work tomorrow x

I know when youre at home the days can drag....esp with all what going on! Trying not to pee till 12 as supposed to hold on for 2-3 hours before doing opk! Could do with going though! Maybe if you feel up to it you could get out briefly as long as you dont do too much youll be fine. Bleeding hasnt arrived yet but its doesnt usually make an appearance till 2-3pm ish for 3-4 hours!

I'm barely bleeding at all now but I'm afraid my body is lulling me into a false sense of security lol I have spent my morning googling about ovulation and bleeding after mva to see what to expect lol I'm scared to get my hopes us about increased fertility so I think having the distraction of work will be nice. Flip go u if u can hold on to 12 haha x

Haha! I did exactly the same thing so you are probably reading all the same posts as i did! I am still doing it 2 weeks post procedure in the hope i will get the exact answer im looking for which is when will MY bleeding stop....which i will never find!! glad bleeding is minimal.some dont get any so you might be one of those lucky ones. If bleeding stops completely you might ovulate soon afterwards. Will see how holding for for next 90 mins goes....if not will have to do tesr a bit earlier!!
