Midwife appointment

Good news: Baby has started to engage! 4/5

Bad news: There was protein in my urine so they're going to send a sample to the lab

Good news: My blood pressure was ok

Midwife isn't concerned since my blood pressure is ok, so I'm desperately hoping that this is just a minor blip. I don't want anyone to take my home birth away!

Thanks all. I've got to say that I'm a bit gutted, and a bit scared to google it in case I read stuff I don't want to read. Urine has been clear up til now, but as the midwife wasn't concerned, I'll focus on that!

some of my samples have had +1 of protein and thwy just sent it off incase of a infection xx

Very sensible, don't google!! If the midwife isn't concerned then that's good!

Ive had blood in mine all thro pregnancy and they were not too overly concerned either

Thanks for your replies, it's good to know that it doesn't always have to be a problem, that helps put my mind at rest. Still resisting the urge to Goggle and feeling ok, so refuse to worry about it thanks x
