Medela calma bottles?

I think thats what they're called, just wondering if anyone has used them? My friend was telling me about them as they're meant to really mimic bf by making the baby form a vacuum and suck like they would when bf. D will take a bottle but it's quite a struggle and takes forever, so I was thinking this maybe better but as they're about £12 each I don't want to buy it and it be no good.

I've got one but its made no difference as Kynon still won't take a bottle. Its right strange, think it would work if your LO doesn't scream at a bottle. I can see how it should be better for breast fed babies. It is expensive though i paid £15 for it! Im still trying with it though as i want him to be able to have a bottle too, he was happier with it in the morning and kind took a little bit, i had him sitting in his chair instead of cuddled like breast feeding.

Thanks for the reply, I've read the reviews and it seems mixed. He does take the bottle eventually but he doesn't like the fact milk comes straight out he looks like he's choking at times. I think I'll give it a go x

Sounds like it could work well for him as he will control the flow not the bottle.
