Snowbee, there seems to be lots of decent used prams about. It seems like a good idea to have a different one for the farm. I would love to live/work on a farm. I know it must be hard work though.
I don't know what car to go for, I need something practical obviously but I don't like the typical family cars. I don't know why I care much as I am not much of a driver, its really just to get from a to b but I don't think I can manage a big car, I am used to the mini xx

I'm having a mini panic I know it's probably all OK but I can't tell hubby he's just started to get excited!

OK so erm... I went to the loo... (no2)... and erm... it wasn't the easiest... iykwim.... but when I wiped there was a bit of blood. NOW I'm pretty damn sure it came from behind rather than front as I've has that happen quite a bit with my ibs and I actually had a fissure diagnosed there a few years back bit the doc never told me a) what it was b) what I should do about it! It was an offhand comment really when she randomly and unexpectedly popped her finger up there lmao! to be honest my butt's not been the same since I had my son I've just been too embarrassed to say anything. I was going to mention it to my midwife but seeing as she is my son's friends mum who's in his class at school.... maybe not!

So anyway the blood was like a few pink spots. I'm trying not to freak out and I'm trying to be rational. its just hard a lot of my mc started with a bit of blood during bowel movement. I'm in a bit of a panic but trying to remain calm! My comfort right now is that my boobs are mega sore tonight my hubby felt them and said they felt like unripened plums lol. My boobs weren't sore with my losses. I know coz I'm a serial poker lol lol

Also if I recall right I had a bit of blood everyone af was due with my son and that wouldn't be too far from now would it?

If you had difficulty then it is likely it's from behind. I have had it a couple of times. Think I have piles, glam! I had it before even got preg but have noticed a few times so far. I find if I hold the tissue there, just pressed there for a few seconds and take it away, I can tell the blood is definitely from there. Sorry for the tmi xx

I bleed from my bottom after bowel movements sometimes- especially in pregnancy. I posted a thread on here about it when I was pregnant with Cam. I always panic initially when I are blood but I just hold a tissue to my bottom and if it comes away with blood on then you know the blood is from there. I'm sure that's all it is hun, but it's so hard not to freak out when you see blood.

Thanks girls at least I'm not alone! I did try to hold the tissue there but I didn't see any more from anywhere hence the miji panic but I'll keep an eye on it. X x x

Still sick as a dog this end too. Scan is in 4 sleeps! I can't believe it's this week!!! And Tri2 is so so close now

Love the blanket I love the Mamas and Papas blankets. I haven't bought anything but have been looking at buggies/prams - I'm in two minds about whether I like the Doona or if I want a lie-flat option (I'm thinking I do). I love the bugaboo but would need to buy second hand or take out a second mortgage - they're so dear!

I definitely need a new car seat though and I need a new baby monitor! Haha!

Ery, I had that with my daughter and it was definitely from behind. It's because of all the glamour is constipation and pressure being put on that region...! If in doubt ring your MW x

Thanks hun x Ive not had anything more and tmi I am very constipated. I have a slow bowel anyway (thanks ibs) and now it's almost a shock that I still go for a no2 lol. I've taken some meds for it the hospital prescribed. with my son I brought a CCTV camera it worked wonders (back then baby monitors with pictures were like we'll over £150 where a CCTV camera was like £20 so definitely want one with pictures this time. If I can get a new cover for my car seat then brilliant if not I may need a new one.

So much for taking advantage of the spa here. No temp control during the wedding yesterday- one area was freezing the other boiling. I had to leave shortly after the dinner because I started shivering and could stop. My throat is sore. My head is congested. Not fun. I was in bed by 8 and cried myself to sleep. I just can't believe I get sick now. But what makes it so bad is that it's a 30 min drive to the rail station and I get car sick, which is likely to be worse since I'm not feeling well in the first place. I so hate that feeling. Then it's still a 3 hr train journey back to London and another 35 mins to home form Paddington. I hate being sick. I just want someone to teleport me to my bed at home please!

Good Morning everyone! scan a week today feels like forever.

felt so poorly yesterday barely moved off he sofa, the nausea was horrible!

scared myself on Saturday too DTD and noticed blood was just a tiny bit and soon stopped hoping it was just a broken blood vessel in there.

hope everyone is feeling better we are almost there

i haven't bought anything i dont even want to look still cant believe its real x

We haven't bought anything yet either. After the scan on Wednesday we'll tell everyone and I'm sure something's will start appearing. My DW is the eldest grandchild and an only child, so this will be the first granchild and great-granchild. They've been eager, so I'm sure it won't take them long to buy a few things. We've looked at some nursery items, but as we are waiting to hear back about a mortgage, turning the rest of the flat will be priority & buying anything for the flat before moving doesn't make any sense, so that'll happen after we move. *fingers crossed* we get the mortgage!

Yea me and my hubby are both only children and my hubby the only grandchild so my son got spoilt rotten lol. If all goes well after Xmas we plan with a little help from my parents to finally sort out the front room and "the kids" bedrooms. it us all starting to be a bit real! Still got 11 days til my scan. I hope all is OK in there. All I have brought so far is little pressies for one of my close friends who is struggling ttc we both started this journey at similar times and she's been my rock. it would have been so perfect if she could have got a bfp with me and she's having to pause soon for a few months to avoid bring due near a trip to USA.

Luckily I have a quinny moodd, which I think we may reuse and just change the colour. It was £900 and still in excellent condition. My son is only 14 months.
We've booked a gender scan for Christmas week as a treat. Hopefully, we can keep it a secret for long enough, so thy find out on Christmas Day. Loads of scans happening this week. Good luck everyone xx

I'm really keen to find out if it is a boy or a girl. I think we will also be booking a private scan to find out if we don't go for the Harmony test first. Fingers crossed for our dating scan first though, only got to wait until Thursday now eek!
