May 2017 Mummies *NEW*

Stay positive Emily. The fact that your trousers feel tight and you're tired are good signs. You have no bleeding. I am sure little one is just fine xx

I am sure that is the reason, I hope time goes quick for u until Wednesday X

It's just that with two of my mc being missed ones, I'm only so reassured by my symptoms.

Statistically speaking, the likelihood of four mc in a row must be really low (it's 1 in 100 to have three in a row). Chances of pregnancy continuing after seeing a heartbeat at 8 weeks is 98% and that goes up to 99.4% if you see a hb at 10 weeks. Plus all our tests are normal so everything is on my side this time but I can't help but worry still!!

hi girls,

had an emergency scan last week to put my mind at ease it was an internal i could see the sac but nothing else was mentioned. i have another scan next thursday and im getting myself all worried there wont be a heart beat or the sac will be empty

i was looking forward to it until i started googling things lol

x

Loving those statistics Emily! It really is more likely to be absolutely fine this time Hun x

That's happened to quite a few ladies and when they went back for their scan there was a heartbeat I hope Thursday comes around quick for you the waiting is really tough xx

I too went to the loo today without memory of the last time lol.
Keep getting niggles and cramps and things to say which is worrying. Keep expectin to start bleeding. But fx

Wish I had my own scanner.

They're pretty expensive though, even the little hand held ones! Such a shame!Lol!

I'm doing the same statistic Googleing Emily lol
Hb at 7 weeks = 78% chance of continuing
Less the 20% for taking the folic acid at conception and the new reduced chance due to hg. Puts the chance of continuing at around 82% still I've had 4 in a row which means my miscarriage stats are against me are slightly higher than normal.

We can but hope there are so many success stories out there. Let's hope these may rainbows make it. I'm so lucky to be sharing this time with all you wonderful ladies who have the same fears as me so I don't feel like a complete pessimistic fool!!!

Sigh.

So tired and need to go to bed or I won't be able to get up in the morning but so hungry and want to eat the entire contents of all my cupboards!

#pregnancyproblems!!

Lol. Emily bedtime and sleeptime are two seperate entities to me at the moment lol. I've just had so many cramps I was knicker watching then farted felt better and silly. Looked up retroverted uterus and it says back pains are more common too whoch is good/bad depending how you look at it. Panicked coz my boobs weren't as sore then rolled over and nearly threw up. Rollercoaster!

sorry rant time so obviously me and oh have been having issues well last night he got so drunk I had to get him home, then he threw up all over the bathroom floor and then I had to clear it up before my kids got home this morning and then he actually wet the bed not the first time because he was so drunk! I can't be dealing with him going off the rails. he's away at his mates for the weekend so I get some space. and I feel so sick and tired today too :(

I've been pretty good at focusing on work and house buying and trying to be patient whilst waiting for my scan (26 Oct), but I also haven't had anything to worry about so far until last night. I had some light brown discharge. I know that can be normal, but I can't help but worry now. I've had light cramping on and off since about 6 weeks, which I've been told is normal. But now there was discharge and my cervix feels irritated, like right after having a pap smear. I've got that have to pee feeling back again, but no issues with urination. Is it worth ringing the mw or am I just overreacting? I haven't had any brown/pink discharge this morning.

Nikki that is unacceptable behaviour. I would be furious too!!
Kabuki, it is pretty common but if you're worried then give gp a call and ask for referral to early pregnancy unit, or you may even be able to self refer xx

Totally agree with above post. Nikki his behaviour is appalling so not on.

Also agree with brown spotting not being intrinsically bad but also not "normal" so would get it looked at. I've been cramping a lot too and it's beginning to worry me also x

The epu want to see me at 6:45 on thursday am for a scan bricking myself now.

Is it just a reassurance scan. They open early!! Xx

I think so the consultat from the hospital phoned and said they want to make sure it's in the right place. Which they should know... argh I've got to go to the room they confirmed 2 of my miscarriages.

But they have seen baby is in the right place haven't they. Try to think of it as another opportunity to see your baby xx

Yea. Argh. Lol. It's just now on Thursday my bubble of not knowing is going to be burst and that's slightly terrifying. I think they want to do the scan coz the others were at the other hospital that my recurrent miscarriage clinic was at. I think they need a photo for their own records. I'm trying to be rational that I've had string symptoms. I've had no bleeding... but I've got cramps and backache and a shite history lol. Oh I'm so scared! I'm sure most of you know the feeling!
