Do you not get sick pay? I am going to get another 2 weeks and then it's half term. That'll be another 3 weeks from this coming monday so I am hoping to feel human by then xx

I'm so annoyed with them!! Obviously happy that my dog is better (although we are still waiting for his biopsy results) but so annoyed that I'm going to have to find an extra few hundred pounds to pay them as they didn't follow my instructions on budget!!

I only get sat sick pay which is a lot less than I'm used to. But I half think my body is telling me I need to rest to make this bean strong my job is quite active and physical and a lot of my mc did seem to start at work. But since last year I've been forced to take life a bit more in the slow lane and I so so I hope it's all been for a good reason. I saw a new human on the playground today and I want one lol.

Lol at new human.
Listen to your body, I guess you could always try going back and them take more time if you feel too unwell xx

Hello, sorry I've been such a bad forumer. I'm usually not I've been so tired and my sickness has been bad. I'm 8+5 today and have an appointment on the 17th at 10+3.

Glad everyone's ok, nice to see all the scans xx

Our epu is really good for giving photos if you ask. The lady is the same one who treated me for my ectopic. She's fab.
Hope that's your doggy sorted now Emily. What a cheek over them over spending though. Hope it can be resolved.
My mouth feels like it's always got a weird taste. Lemon slices in water has helped a bit with that.
The pharmacy only had half my tablets, so have to go back tomorrow. Also got to pick the inlaws up from the airport...they've been in oz for over month. Will be nice to see them and get to tell them.. not looking forward to the driving though lol

It's been a few weeks since I posted - had a hectic few weeks!

Hopefully we are completing our house purchase this week, it's been such a long process and so stressful! On top of that my father was rushed in hospital and had to stay in for a few days (thankfully he's better now and back to his normal self) and one of my poor cats passed away unexpectedly 3 weeks ago and I was totally heartbroken :'(

Safe to say its been a busy and stressful first trimester for me! Just hoping everything calms down after this week so I can enjoy this pregnancy instead of having to put it to one side because of all the chaos!

Hope you're all feeling well :)

I have gone and bought a Doppler!!! I know I know.. I can't believe I have bought one, I said I never would but someone my hubby works with is a retired midwife and she has offered to teach me how to use it and what to listen for (mainly for later on really I think) and with all this bleeding I can't keep going for private scans so I bought it and it's arriving today! I should put it away for a couple of weeks but I know me I won't be able to resist having a go even though I know it's too early. I hope it ends up being a comfort!! I know it's not to be relied upon to tell you all is ok with baby either but after Harrison I am much better educated about the importance of movements over heartbeat so I don't worry about me using it to think all is ok without getting checked or being very mindful of movements but the mw said she can teach us how to tell if baby is in any stress from listening to heartbeat and checking rate. I think I am trying to convince myself I have done the right thing! I just need something to help me get through this! Xx

I've been trying with the idea of getting one too. But u know I won't be able to hear the hb until much later on ciz my uterus is tilted so I need to wait til it pops forward like a balloon being inflated lol.

Hormones! I just burst into tears reading about a little boy who like bin men trucks lol. I'm mad lol.

No doubt I will be trying when I get mine too Emily! Hope u find it soon xx

I'm going to get a doppler as a treat when I graduate to tri 2..... hopefully. Also I promised my husband that we will buy the lego helicarrier as a gift from baby to son if we ever get that far .... gee I didn't know how expensive that thing was lol. But they will love it! Maybe they can build it when I'm in labour. See look at me being optimistic... *runs and hides back in ignorance bubble lol*

I have been thinking of getting one too. Which one did you go for Lou? Xx

Oh I've already tried my Doppler!! I found a friend at about 9 weeks once!

My midwife friend is on maternity so I hope to pinch her very good one!! She won't let me have it too early I bet though!!

My other one is an angelsounds one.

I'm still symptomless apart from boobs and bump! It's a bit annoying as I would usually feel really crap but my private scan is Sunday so that will give reassurance.

Xx

1 week tomorrow till my booking in. my friend had hers today and she got her scan date :) I've used dopplers with both of mine I'll get one in tri 2 probably lol I have a tilted uterus as well so might be a bit harder to find it early can't remember when I found it with my other two

I don't even know what a doppler is. I'm totally clueless. Not sure what I am going to do if this does actually turn into a baby haha, I assume it is a bit like a pet and needs feeding and cleaning! I don't even know how to hold a baby let alone anything else... Feeling a bit stupid now!

How long is it safe to try for and how often is it ok to use it? X

Lol with my son I was the same snowbee. My friend had hers a few months before mine and I was far too freaked to even try to hold her lol. But when my son came along it was natural.... though I did need help with the whole nappy change for a bit lol.
My maternity exemption card arrived today. It all feels a bit more real now :o

I haven't even applied yet because I can't leave the house lol. Must get that sorted x
You will be fine snowbee, it does come to you. Although, it did take me about an hour to change my sons babygrow for the first time. I was scared of putting it over his head. I was young lol xx
