Just had the scan with the consultant and he says it looks physiological and that the tiniest of excess fluid that is around the heart will likely be gone as the baby grows. He says everything looks perfect- the heart is beating strong and normal, blood flow is fantastic and the baby is very active. As a precaution, I have another scan in 2 weeks so he can have a look again when the little bean is a bit bigger. He initially said 16 weeks, and I was kinda hoping that would be the case so I could sneak a peak. Ah well, I'll take any chance to just have another look. The legs were crossed today, but still bouncing all over the place. I'm completely mesmerised when the little bean is on the screen.
