May 2017 Mummies *NEW*

I think I'll be the last one here. No one to share my scan news with! :(

maybe stay in here till one of the others move's over and can start it up lol I think my dates might go back a bit at my scan tomorrow

I thought I might've been pushed back a day or two as I ovulated a little later in my cycle, but the little bean measured exactly 12 weeks.

I've measured ahead at my last 2 scans so I'm expecting to be 12w+ today. Hopefully!!

XX

Oh ladies, you won't be left behind or not have anyone to share news with. I will still continue to chat here until we all move over xx

at my 7 week scan I thought I was 7+4 but was measuring 7 weeks but hopefully might of caught up by now :)

Happy 13 weeks lisey. I'm 12+4 by ovulation but my midwife has used LMP and I'm due 5th May by that so I'm not too far behind you at all. I'm hoping my scan shows something around those anyway!

Oooh close then snowbee. I am measuring 3 days ahead but they don't change dates with IVF pregnancies xx

Mine is clomid with tracked ovulation and so should be pretty accurate at my 12+4 but they seem fairly clueless about assisted conception. I don't think they have many through compared to regular pregnancies. Just hope my little one has caught up as we were measuring behind.

In the early stages it is so easy to get the measurements out a bit anyway. One of the sonographers said to me that another person could come and measure straight after her and measure differently. I think they are more strict with IVF dates as they know the exact date of fertilisation whereas there could be a few days leeway with ovulation on clomid. It would obv give a good indication though xx

I know some of you ladies have been suffering with constipation, this only properly affecting me now. Any remedies? I drink lots of water, I can't be eating vegetables because I will sick them up yuk xx

If all goes well next week I dont mind hosting tri 2 if noone else wants to I think we will all be straddling both threads for quite a while anyway x

Lisey. fibregel helps and I got prescribed lactose or something like that tastes good like caramel or something.

good luck with the scans - i should have been having mine but i couldnt get out of work so ive had to rearrange for monday :(

Ery, thats good. You take on the hosting.
Was it lactolose? I have tried that before but gave me terrible cramps and diarrhoea. My stomach just feels so uncomfortable.
Leigh, thats a shame, Monday will come by soon enough though xx

i know really struggling today to with exhaustion and feeling down in the dumps just hoping the weekend rolls around.

monday will soon be here and its an extra few days on my bean so i might get a better date :)

Just had the scan with the consultant and he says it looks physiological and that the tiniest of excess fluid that is around the heart will likely be gone as the baby grows. He says everything looks perfect- the heart is beating strong and normal, blood flow is fantastic and the baby is very active. As a precaution, I have another scan in 2 weeks so he can have a look again when the little bean is a bit bigger. He initially said 16 weeks, and I was kinda hoping that would be the case so I could sneak a peak. Ah well, I'll take any chance to just have another look. The legs were crossed today, but still bouncing all over the place. I'm completely mesmerised when the little bean is on the screen.

glad everything is OK and they are keeping an eye on it for you just in case :) everything sounds good tho!

Super news kabuk.

Good news here too :) All looks well and I'm now measuring ahead. Took ages to get the measurements as little one wouldn't play ball, firstly facing backwards and then after I had a wander and a snack they wouldn't keep still and kept leaping about. Freaking out now, this is happening eeeeeeeekkkkk!
