Got my second scan tomorrow to determine whether im am 8 weeks or whether my dates are going to be put back. So excited to see the bean again. Not been feeling so sick today (thankfully) but do have some mild period type pains at the moment. Also I made a chicken roast dinner today and it tasted so bland. Everything on my plate tasted the same and not really of anything! Anyone else experienced this? I would say maybe its my cooking but OH enjoyed his!

I have an issue with things tasting like washing up liquid.

last time I didn't like anything really apart from turnip which was all of a sudden the best tasting thing in the world.

Sorry to hear most of you are feeling crappy. I'm with you all on that one, never been so exhausted its horrible. Nausia is better but does flare up now and again.
I have a constant horrible taste too, no matter what I eat I have the same stale taste in my mouth after it. My friend who is also pregnant had the same and she said drinking water with lemon in helped so going to give that a try! Xx

I had it on everything!

on toast, in sandwiches, on fish and chips like gravy. I was going through about 10 turnips a week.

Ive got this taste constantly too!!!
Its like a metallic type taste like im sucking on a spoon!!




Ive had a nice week off and im bk in work today and dreading it!!!

On the plus side, 10 weeks woo! X

That taste is horrid! Luckily I've only had it for a few days, definitely feel for you having it all the time.
I was starting to worry that the nausea seems to have gone unless I'm really hungry, but the ridiculous tiredness is definitely still here fee like I could go back to bed and sleep all day, I haven't even been up two hours yet. Xx

I too have this horrible taste some days worse than others, chewing gum helps me.

I felt little pops in my belly this morning like gas but it never came to anything, wishful thinking I think?

Thanks. So my little bean has had a growth spurt and is measuring exactly as it should be now...8 weeks. Got pics this time and also a copy of last weeks. You can really see the change in size. Its grown 10mm in a week!

It's awful waiting for a scan isn't it! The last 2 weeks have been the longest of my life! It goes to show how important the littles beans are to us!! Hope u manage to keep occupied Hun so it goes a bit quicker for u!! Xx

ive had to wait until 12 weeks for a scan. its hell, although I'm glad in a way because I had bleeding ANd had a few eaely scans

mind you the only good thing about being high risk category (bmi) is that I get more scans. that said last time I had scans at:
7wks, 10 wks, 2 at 12 weeks, 16weeks, 20 weeks, 24 weeks, 28weeks, 30 weeks, 32weeks, 34 weeks, 35 weeks, 36 weeks, 37 weeks, 38 weeks and 39 weeks lol. SLIGHT overkill (I was diagnosed wigh low fluid at 28 weeks, then very low fluid at 35 weeks- I was also almost induced at 35 weeks.

Lou and Jo, you will both be fine. I know how hard it is to wait but it will all be worth it. Going to try and get booked in with my gp tomorrow, I think that will make it feel really real for me then.

Thanks Hun it's not until 3.40pm!!! Got to get through work first! I hope it's busy! Feeling really quite rough tonight, so tired and queasy I came home and have not really moved from the sofa!

Had my first half of booking appt tonight. Got to go into the mlu on Wednesday for mum to take bloods and urine sample and fill in a few more forms. Hopefully be about 3.5 weeks till dating scan but won't know for another week or so (wahhhh, it's such a long wait!!!).

All of a sudden the weeks seem to be whizzing by. I want to just stop feeling sick and enjoy this pregnancy, savour every moment. I was always wishing and waiting for the next thing before!!! X
