Scan was great yesterday we saw a heartbeat and only one baby (phew!) but been put back to 6 weeks 5 days I will wait until my 12 week to change my due date or ticker though! So relieved the last couple of weeks have been a nightmare not knowing if squidge was ok

Lou after a quick google I have found that some women never get a 3+ and it's not very accurate so try not to worry (easier said than done I know!)

hey. not been on for a few days - family vistng and things.

ive had a pretty rough few days... came f=home from work on thursday morning in so much pain i was almost crying... back, hips, knees and pulling pains at top of pelvis. i had to ring in sick


went to doctor who gave me a good once over and said it was probably because the unit i was on is heavy on the walking and should ask to be put on a smaller unit. also said that if it doesnt get better to go back and he will make a referral for physio.

hes also said my asthma has come back so i have inhailers for that and i have a low grade chest infection so im on antibiotics for that. pretty thurough appointment really.

ive had a hot water bottle on my knees every night since thursday dreading speaking to my boss because i dont like saying im not coping

my scan is getting closer... just 16 days to go.

im 9wks 3 days now... its kinda weird how im getting closer to th end of the tri and nothing bad has happened *knock on wood* im almost starting to feel confident enough to put a ticker on... but not yet

How's everyone doing? I'm counting down to my scan in 11 days, I can't wait to see bubs and be reassured that everything's ok. I'm petrified of a mmc even though my bump is quite evident, oh commented on it when we was cuddling last night. I bumped into a woman that we met on holiday 3 months ago and she gave my bump a rub when we said bye.
I don't know why I'm worrying too much, maybe it's because I've been blessed with 4 previous successful pregnancies and think my luck can't last forever.

I have 9 sleeps till my dating scan!!
Im so excited!!

Apart from the odd nausea in the evenings and boobs the size on melons im fine! And keep forgetting im even pregnant!!!!

Ive been so so luxky and ive had no physical sickness again this pregnancy xx

Thank you ladies got a 3+ on digi this am so now feeling better!! Spotting has stopped...

It's mad how everyone's pregnancy is different!!

I am also terrified of a MMC but they are quite uncommon aren't they? So nervous about scan too, it's v reassuring seeing everyone's little bean though xx

11 days until my dating scan too
I told the midwife at my booking in that my dates were different to what they'd got (7th May), and that I'd had a private scan which gave me a due date of 22nd May, so my dating scan would be too early, she wasn't interested at all! I'll only be 9+4 so pretty sure I'll have to end up going back a couple of weeks later to get the nuchal measurements, like I did with my first pregnancy. Xx

This is happening to me too.
I no i didnt ovulate until cd26!and shes basing my edd on a 28day cycle!!
So shes given me a due date of 1st May. I gave myself 11th May!
Private scan gave 13th may lol, but then had a scan friday before last and they have out me forward ao now 9th May lmao!

By my dates im hoping to be 11+1 at the dating scan, but they will think im almost 13!

We shall see what happens!
In my hosp if ur anything below 11 they rescan you xx

I've been suffering awfully with sickness, been off work since Monday, started with a temperature and I've got worse since, off to dr tomorrow tho as I'm struggling to breathe and very phlegmy. Sick every night so far, fine on a morning but awful on an evening.my oh has been brilliant though, holding my hair and running round after me. I'm very lucky!xx

I think because it was a private scan, and nothing to do with the hospital, they're just ignoring it and going by their own dates which are wrong anyway! I couldn't remember the exact date of my lmp, so I said it was around the first week in August, so they put it down as 1st aug, I've since worked it out and it was actually the 8th. Scan date put me back 6 days, so hospital days are 15 days out at the minute. Oh well, I may be lucky and get an extra freebie scan lol. Xx

Gosh I know exactly how you feel. I'm so tired of the nausea, can't really do anything but lie around all day feeling like a lazy bum with the poor guy left to take care of everything.

Hope your doctor will be able to help...is this your first?

Hopefully girls it's gonna reach its peak soon!! Honestly, this part of pregnancy is SO crappy. Like totally rubbish. Maybe it's natures way of making sure we REALLY want this!? Because I've got no idea what the evolutionary need for all these pregnancy symptoms really is! I'm having a few better days now where the nausea isn't so intense 24 hours but it's definitely still there. I'm sticking to the fact that I feel this pregnancy is a bit easier than my son (so far) I just had a bad few days last week. Bring on tri 2, the "glowing" and finally baby kicks again!!! Xxx

Yeah this is my first and most probably my last!haha! At first it was just nausea now I'm vomiting every evening,literally 5 mins after I finish eating. xx

Sounds awful. I don't get any of the vomiting...though I sometimes wish I did just for a bit of relief, sigh.

Really, really hope the second trimester will be better, perhaps that'll make us forget the misery and get excited about having more.

Hi everyone I'm a bit slow to join this thread but I'm currently around 7 weeks pregnant, due on 29th May. Although I ovulated late so I'm expecting that to go back a bit. This is my second pregnancy - I have a little boy aged two. I remember feeling exhausted the first time around but it's reached a whole new level thus time now I have a crazy toddler to run around after!

Counting down the days to my midwife appointment on tuesday then private scan next mon 19th. I'm not good at waiting!
