****** May 2015 Mummies to be *******

I'm upset about everything this morning!
ache from head to foot and generally feel really low.
not looking forward to today

Careyamummy, definately pop in and get in checked, especially if you were showing slight traces last week.
Drink tons as well to help it flush through otherwise that burning sensation could get a lot stronger.

Flosi what's happened? Xx

nothing in particular. That's the frustrating part!
think I'm more stressed about work than I first thought, just don't want to go.

:( you'll get through it hun. You'll be back home in your pjs before you know it. What's the worst that can happen xx

No one told me about the joys of pregnancy before I got pregnant!!!!

Constipation, morning sickness, heartburn, hormones etc etc. they should make a list of the horrible stuff and give this out to school kids. That will soon reduce underage pregnancies!

My friend is taking me out for a birthday lunch today, so looking forward to that :)

Jessie, we are in double fingered now!!!!

It does sound like it might be a water infection Caseysmummy.

Flosi will PM you now....

Bigbee Happy birthday, is it actually your birthday today? I agree with you that no one tells you about the 'lovely' side to pregnancy....constipation, piles, sickness, constant weeing during the night, hip and back pain, itchy sensitive boobs ha ha it will all be worth it though :-)

Hope everyone has a good day xx

Blueeyes, birthday is on the 9th... Just going for lunch today :) can't wait. Actually starving!

Hey ladies, sorry some are feeling rough, hope you get things sorted wee wise today, water infections are awful!!

I am feeling very happy today, my wonderful OH has just told me he has treated me to a spa treat, nails done, facial whatever I want :D ahhhh its probably as im forever complaining haha bless him!

Morning ladies :) had a good day yesterday with lunch for hubbys birthday, then pub in the evening. Evenanaged to stay out till 11:30! Had a nice lie in until 10:30 as Henry stayed at my mums. Had a wriggly little Freckle who's kicks now appear to be strong enough to wake me several times a night!

Was lovely waking up to him kicking though. Even hubby got woken by him at one point as he was kicking him in the back lol!

& finally hubby has agreed Freckle's real name will be Toby Alexander  so glad we have it settled now :pompom:

Ahh i see, well enjoy your lunch Bigbee

Buttonbear that sounds lovely, a nice relaxing day. When is it?

Larly, sounds like a lovely day yesterday, and nice you have settled on a name :-) Our little ones will be here before we know it won't they.

xx

Ok so heartburn has definately stepped up a notch. I had it around 20 weeks for a week then a quiet period but i got it in the night keeping me awake for several hours and I've got it again now and it's not shifting! I've had some rennies, a glass of milk and a yoghurt but it's not moving!

Blueeyes I can pick any day i like as its a voucher amount :) Will move house and settle then go to relax after haha

And OMG how disgusting are prunes, only managed 2 before i almost threw up haha how pathetic!!

Aww buttonbear hope you're feeling better, oddly enough i actually quite like prunes :S and a locallittler bakery where i use to live made a lovely prune cake!

I've made the mistake of looking at another pram/pushchair that i'm starting to think i maybe like more than the one we've ordered!!! But it is more expensive so trying to convince myself I don't want it.

I've been getting it every now and again, usually cured by a spoonful of Peptac liquid prescribed by the GP, but this week it's been horrendous! My list of food to avoid now includes pizza, Percy Pigs and citrus fruit! I had to buy some gaviscon on the way to work yesterday as I was so desperate - it's vile stuff and didn't help.

Afternoon ladies, im going to book a drs appointment about possible water infection. Drinking lots of water has helped today, I hurt so much tiday, work has killed me. From my shoulders to my feet I ache and I was almost in tears by the end of my shift as struggled to walk to meet my oh. Im currently back home in my pj's with my massage pillow on my shoulders lol. Only one more day then I have a day off to rest and the rest of my shifts finish earlier. I don't want to jinx it but my heart burn has eased over the past couple of weeks. Hope everyone else is okay xxx

Sorry your feeling so rubbish Casey, not long until you can get some rest though x

Button- what a lovely gift from your OH, I might have to drop some hints ;)

Mayflower and Jessie, so sorry you're suffering with heartburn, it's not something that's bothered me in this pregnancy or my last thank goodness. Gaviscon is revolting stuff!

I've just had my 25 week appointment, this baby is a naughty rascal and would not lie still for the Doppler! We could both feel the little monkey wriggling and rolling away and she managed to pick up the heartbeat for a few seconds before losing it again. The poor mw felt awful that I didn't get a better listen, but we agreed there is obviously nothing to worry about :good:

Bp is good, urine clear and bloods taken to check my thyroid and iron level. And I picked up my matb1  back again a week on Monday for my GTT :(

Caseysmummy (always tries to correct to Carey!!) you're dong so well to get through work! You're so nearly at the end and I know it benefits you to do these shifts. Keep powering through the end is in sight xx

Yea heartburn really sucks, funny how some get it and some don't, I just can't bare he taste and texture of heartburn but needs must.

Durham, my baby also wouldn't keep still! The midwife was actually gripping my tummy, with her hand over baby's back trying to hold her in place. It's really sore now!

It was a pretty boring appointment though? Did blood pressure and tested my urine, but that was it.

I've just seen it on Facebook lol. I was in there quite a while, but we did chat about my backache from standing at work, my lack of an immune system and my bloods.

I went straight into work after my appointment and handed in my matb1, then is discussed needing a seat during my shift and my manager has agreed and will pass it on to the other managers at their weekly meeting. The female manager was in there and witnessed the talk.

On my way out I bumped into my midwives from last time who did my sweeps and cared for me and Blake after he was born- it was so lovely to see them :good:
