****** May 2015 Mummies to be *******

Larly! Awesome!

I've been painting the spare room all day. Knackered now, but am pleased with myself as feel like I've had a productive day. Hopefully won't need to do a second coat ;):)

Now chilling, having an Asda Indian takeaway (living it up!!!!!), and watching a film.

Gotta go to work in the morning to write up a calculation. Like bleeping school!!!!! Mheh.

Only 99 days to go Larly, isn’t it flying by!!

I managed a little swim today, but not done anything else, my back and hips are still painful, so had a very lazy day, with the wheat bag pretty much attached to me. all the time (except for when swimming!!)

Haven’t got to cook any dinner tonight, as made a curry in the slow cooker on Thursday. So having the leftovers for dinner tonight, well need to cook rice, but that won’t take long or any effort. SO a lazy day and a lazy evening xx

My son had a day like that yesterday larly! Today im pleased to say although we have had a couple of moments, he's been much more of a good boy today which has been a relief, he's actually earned his kinder egg after tea! Thanks button ill be over later for some leftovers definitely sounds delicious! I always crave proper roasts when im pregnant, I did last time too. Loved Christmas as we had a roast most days! Yummy. Ive had mash potato's with gammon and parsley sauce for tea was yummy! Feeling very full now and sleepy. Im dreading going back to work Monday as im feeling sleepy a lot again throughout the day but it could be because getting to sleep at night is such a pain im the bum as if I don't have heartburn I constantly need a wee and if it's not that I can't get comfortable with my bump or my hips it's becoming a nightmare and im really missing lying on my belly as my backs so sore. Going to do some knitting tonight to try and finish my blankets off! Xxx

Caseysmummy you have really made me fancy gammon, mash and parsley sauce with carrots now (we had it last on New years day) xx

Evening ladies, I've been at work today, OH has painted the nursery :good: I made dauphinois potatoes and ratatouille for tea with pork chop for him and a mushroom en-croute for me!

There's bread and butter pudding cooking in the oven and Blake is at Grandmas for the night :yay:

Congrats on double figures Larly!

Ooh all this talk of food is making me salivate haha! Hubby is just dishing up toad in the hole as I type! :)

So looking forward to our 3D/4D scan tomorrow!!

Hope you're all enjoying you're weekend so far x

We've had takeaway. Henry's failt as I left dinner in a basket down an aisle in a shop!

It was nice, one of my favourite teas. Don't blame you larly treat yourself after a stressful day. That sounds lovely too jen! Oo I really want a 3/d scan but im holding off atm as I have lots of scans anyways would love to see there faces in 3d though xxx

Dinner sounds nice durham and jenb.

Will you be posting some scan photos Jenb? A friend has sent me a link for a 3d scan offer

xx

Yeah, I'll pop a couple of pics on here for you girls.
It might sound daft but I'll not be putting any pics on facebook. I kind of feel like I want the first pic of our little one to be when he is born. I think it'll just be nice to keep the 3D pics in the family x

I'm just worried that ollie will get to nursery and not be able to pull them up/down. He generally leaves going to the last minute so it's hard to encourage him to do it by himself when he's bursting. I need to make him do it more so he gets used to it.

Aw-I need to book my 3d scan.

Got a chesty cough & snotty nose. Just blew my nose so hard I coughed & gagged :( nothing I can even take for my cough :(

Really hope Henry behaves today. Can't cope with another day like yesterday. At least hubby & I r off for a week now so I don't have to cope with Henry alone.

Hope everyone had a good nights sleep

I'm struggling too Larly, I can't breathe properly through my nose so I'm sleeping with my mouth wide open, I wake up with my tongue so dry it's sticking to the inside of my mouth and I'm covered in thick dry saliva urgh! It's taking 2/3 cups of tea to clear it all in the morning.

I was a right wally last night, taking advantage of Blake being away for the night I treated myself to a bath with loads of candles. Then I caught my hair on one! The smell was awful! Luckily I have a thick head of hair and can't tell where it's missing some

larly I feel for you with the cold, I have woken this morning, throat like razor blades and blocked nose!!

We went to the inlaws for dinner last night, we had gammon, Dauphinoise potatoes and veggies. It was yum!

Mil was very excited because she'd been baby shopping, she couldn't wait to show me... But the clothes she's bought are awful! I was very polite, cooed over them and said thanks, but when we got home I showed my OH and he asked me what I thought. I didn't want to offend him, so said I wasn't sure about them. Thankfully, he agreed with me lol and said she can wear them to play in the mud in the garden lol.

How do you handle gifts that aren't quite to your taste, without being rude?!

Garden others sound good lol! Or just put baby in them when u visit mil. She'll soon be sick or poop in them anyway. Then u could not be able to get the stains out lol x

Morning ladies! (Sending you this message from my freshly washed phone!!!)

Haven't really had any gifts as such yet... Most likely will just ask if I can change them. My friends and family know I'm direct, and whenever I buy something for people I always give them a gift receipt :) I prefer my money put to a good use rather than be put on one side and considered tat. Not everyone shares this attitude unfortunately.

I am the same bigbee, I always give gift receipts and wouldn't be offended if someone asked to exchange something. Unfortunately MIL would be most offended, especially as she was so pleased with herself!

Ahhhh, mayflower. Keep the stuff :) you never know, one day you might run out of clean clothes for the baby! Then you'll be pleased you have some very last resort bits stashed away :)

I did something terrible!! We recently got a babygrow that we really weren't keen on and then we had a surpise visit from my friends who have just had a baby and we hadn't had time to get them anything so we re-gifted it!!
Yep, I'm going to hell!
