thanks for the responses guys. I had read that they had to fins easier role or put me on leave with full pay until earliest my maternity can start, just not sure how to broach the subject. Not really a lot else I can do ay work either.
thanks for message blue eyes .

Went with joie chrome travel system, good reviews, seems well priced, liked the look of it and fits in car haha (ordered online from mothercare and went through quidco so but extra back)

Furniture is a three piece oak set from mamas and papas in sale.

Hope you're all doing ok today.

I've spent alot on time in the car today to travel for our 3D scan and now my back/ pelvis is agony!

Well worth it though, baby showed himself nicely and we got some lovely pics. He kept rubbing his eyes at one point which was very cute! It definitely feels more real now, but surreal at the same time ha! :)

I know, He actually looks like a little person! :)

It was a really lovely experience, I'd def recommend for anyone thinking about having one.

I hope you feel better soon Mayflower. I have teary days quite often at the min and I never really know why, which frustrates me! xx

Only thing I am concerned about is she has been head down low on my last 2 scans at 20 and 22 weeks where we could barely see her head/face! Wouldn't get any pics if its the same again :(

That's a good point, button. I have an anterior placenta, will they be able to get to the face? We had a couple of 3d pictures from the 20 week scan, could see the baby but there was something at the front of him/her....

Hmm it's tricky. My lo one was head down at 20 weeks and they only just managed to get measurements, he was even more head down at my growth scan at 25 weeks and they couldn't get measurements of the head at all. He was still head down today but seemed to be moving around a bit so they managed to get a quite a good look at him luckily. Most places offer a free re scan if your little one isn't playing ball :) x

I've got an interior placenta too Bigbee, it didn't seem to get the in way too much today though. Baby seemed to be at the side of it x

Thanks, Jen! A good reason to have the scan!! I wanna see if the baby looks like my OH! Hahaha

Jen, we used Window to the Womb in Watford for our gender scan. It was a lovely place, we've been looking at a 4d scan there too. Which package did you go for?

I think I am just feeling a bit overwhelmed by everything. Six months ago I'd never have imagined I'd be pregnant now, but she'll be here in the next 16 weeks or so?! I want the pregnancy to slow down so I can really appreciate it, this could be my only pregnancy? I love my bump and feeling her move, and I know I'll miss it, but at the same time I want her out so I can see her and feel more in control. So many mixed emotions!

Mayflower, we went for the 3D/4D born to be a star package @ £99.

We went to the one in Notts and everyone was lovely there too.

Ah I know exactly what you mean too! I sometimes wake up in a panic, realising that I'm going to be a Mummy in just a few weeks. I actually can't wait but I sometimes feel like it going too quickly and we'll not be ready in time. I really struggled with feeling so poorly at the start of my pregnancy and I've only just started to 'enjoy' being pregnant. Don't get me wrong, I'd happily do it all again for our LO but the fact that we are going to be fully responsible for a little person is a little overwhelming.! Can't wait to have him in my arms though, although, like you, I think I'll miss my bump :) x

Look on groupon for vouchers for window to the womb (I inow they had some on not too long ago)

I really need to book mine-need to get paid! Haha :)

Lovely photo's jenb.

Hope you're ok mayflower, I feel very overwhelmed by it all some days too, I think most of us do.

Xx

Wiiiiiide awake.... gah! Tired as well :( ah well little one is kicking about so not all bad lol.

Morning ladies. Im officially awake for first day back at work. I feel like I've hardly slept knowing I had to be up early and worrying about not getting up. Whyam I so nervous about going back to a job I've been doing for over 18 months now. I feel like it's my first day all over again. Hope everyone is well this morning xxx

Hope your first day back goes ok Caseysmummy!

I woke up at 1am for a wee, and struggled to get back to sleep. I was tossing and turning until the alarm went off at 5.30. I am going to be so grumpy today!

Thanks mayflower! 10 mins to go til I leave. .. I can't believe im so damn nervous. Feel so silly. Feels good that I organised last night though. Xxx

I think I saw every hour last night! And have a very awake toddler to look after. Think I may go back to bed when he goes for his nap.
