****** May 2015 Mummies to be *******

Ahh, Elliott! Isn't that lovely! Getting more real now, right?

Our cleaner does the kitchen, loo downstairs, hallway and living room. Mainly dust and Hoover. She does clean the kitchen quite well.
Then she does the hallway upstairs, our bedroom and the ensuite. She cleans the bathrooms quite well. But I did tell her I don't want a "cosmetic" clean. She also sometimes does the main bathroom upstairs (which we never use, but she'd wash the bath if it looks dusty).

This girl is quite good.

I had three cleaners before, whom I fired cos they were shite.

It's worth the money. Saves me time at the weekends :)

Yep getting more real :) will try to post pics once finished although initially it might just be an empty room nicely painted but once that's done we've agreed we will feel ready to get stuff!

Hmmm you're tempting me now in to getting a cleaner too lol. I think id be able to relax a lot more if I didn't feel constantly guilty that the house I a mess and wont get any better until OH finishes work and comes and does it.

Jessie, go for it. It will make your life that little bit easier :)

Ours comes over every other Friday for three hours. That's all we need.

You could try it for a few weeks and see if the cleaning is up to your standards.

Cleaners don't normally tidy, they clean, so bear that in mind.

Hello all, hope you're feeling well.

Mayflower I'm the same as you, I don't iron. hubby is a tradesman and I don't wear things that need ironing haha :)

Last time my first visitors were the in laws. We had sent a picture around already. My mum isn't fussed to be first visitor so I weren't bothered.
This time round, Ollie is to be first visitor once he has seen baby then everyone else can. I don't think I want anyone at the hospital this time though so they can come round to the house. :)

Ooh Elliott yes make sure you post photos of the nursery :-)

Can't comment about cleaners as other half does a bit and I do everything else, we tend to do house work at weekends as I work full time in the week (other half was until he lost hours, but hopefully he'll be full time soon, so I can have maternity).

Jessie sounds like someone to do the ironing is a good idea with how much you are suffering.

Think I'm going to have to go to the GP about my itchy boobs they are driving me mad!! xx

Babies are define having a good snuggle at the moment, trying to keep warm in there with this cold weather I think. I think my in laws will visit first as they're having my son and would like him to visit first to meet his little sisters, then other family can come and visit as they like buti do think it's important he gets to meet them first as he's so excited to be a big brother and keeps telling me he's going to sing them lullabies and rick them in the pram and help mummy do nappies. He's really excited to be a big brother which makes my heart melt. I want to buy him a gift from the babies so he doesn't feel forgotten about when they're getting lots of presents but it's only going to be just over a month after his birthday so im not sure what to get him. I want something special for him to keep xxx

I've been wondering the same thing recently about what to buy my son from the baby. I remember my little brother had been to the shop and bought me some smarties when he he lcame out of mummies tummy and I instantly liked him lol. I was only 3 but I still remember it.

I reached v day.... Yeyyy.. 💙 👶

Ahhh this is just like my son, he is beyond excited and just cannot wait to cuddle her, help dress her etc! Just love him, he will be first too with in laws as he will be staying with them too :)

Ahhh I Just cannot wait for him to meet his sister! He cuddles and falls asleep on my bump alot bless him.

When I got the Moses basket out of the loft the other week my LO asked me where the baby was. He's getting impatient! Haha :)

I like the gift idea for the existing children. I will probably get Ollie a train for his wooden track and some sweets.

We've gotten our little man the watch he's been after and will get him something with big brother on it as well from his sister :). We do want tot make sure he gets just as much attention and spend quality time as a family of 4 before lots of people visit etc as Im sure it will be hard for him not being the centre of attention as normal haha. He's my absolute world that boy, i do get a little sad that I wont devote 100% attention to him once LO is here but I guess that's a normal feeling?!

Sounds like the right decision Jessie. Wish I could do the same, I loathe ironing and really struggling to stand for long periods of time now.

We've booked a 3D/4D scan for Sunday, So excited! :)

Also can't believe I move over to Tri 3 tomorrow! I hope it slows down a bit now.

x

We're getting Henry a present from Freckle. Most likely some new playmobil. He's obsessed with it!

Nearly made it to my next milestone, 2 more days then I'll be into double figures :yay:

Freckle had a good period of movement tonight, definitely starting to be more rolling & fidgeting now. & struggling to tell where the kicks r actually coming from as my whole stomach moves! X

Yes buttonbear vday for me too tomorrow, so glad it's finally here, it feels such a relief too. Im going to be on the look out for something special that he will love. Oo im excited to move over to tri 3 soon! Xxx

So tired back and hips are so painful I've hardly slept again (even with pregnancy pillow) beginning to wonder if it is from my slipped disc 3 years ago or not, it had been really good prior to pregnancy. Hips click when I get up or sit on loo. I love my baby so much and so excited to be expecting, so not complaining, but boy does this hurt. So tired all the time with having such rubbish nights sleep. So glad I've got a days holiday tomorrow xx

How pathetic am I, just sat and cried, so tired and still awake, have given up on bed and crept downstairs, looked at the snow and tried to make myself as comfy as I can on sofa with pillows and blankets xx
