****** May 2015 Mummies to be *******

You must feel so much more comfortable Durham.

Tasha how annoying, hope you're not too tired

I felt baby moved again last night and this morning, so she must be giving me some really good hits for me to feel it, but it makes me feel so happy xx

I am soo much more comfortable!

Glad you're feeling more movement Blueeyes, it's such a good feeling.

I'm jealous! I think I felt the baby move again last night, but really late. It wasn't like the other night though - was very light and not that many movements at all.

Absolutely gutted I can't feel my first baby! :( have my Mw appointment on Thursday, going to raise my concerns to her.

Don't be too upset. I didn't feel anything at all until 20 weeks and then it was easy to miss tummy churning. It took a few weeks to feel proper kicks. Now at almost 25 weeks I can feel more kicking. It took a long time compared to others but I'm sure you'll feel movement and kicks soon.

Not sure how far along you are. But everyone is different. Hopefully your midwife will be able to help

Bigbee don't worry, it's quite common with your first not to feel movement as much, I remember from 15-20 weeks with my first analysing everythingi felt for movement, I also had an anterior placenta, then when I could feel him move it was hit and miss until later on. I used to havea cold drink and lie down just to feel him move, he was a very lazy baby! You might find over the next couple of weeks, babies kicks startto feel stronger. I know this time baby a is tucked behind my placenta and in the last couple of weeks she's started giving me hard kicks but still can't feel her from the outside xxx

I've been having a look online at the Asda Baby Event, I am a little disappointed tbh! Not lot on there at all.

I did buy a Sangenic nappy bin, and three spare cassettes for it. I know a lot of people think they're a waste of money but I think they're fab!

I just have to mayflower and there's not a lot on there really one thing that did tempt me was the tommy tippee food explora blender as it's reduced to 10 but I bought a blender for myself earlier in the year and don't think it's worth buying one just for babies aa could use mine and I won't need one until there older anyways. Im thinking of getting the nappy bin, I didn't have one last time and want something that will reduce the smell a little so I don't have to go outside to bin every dirty nappy xxx

OMG.....i am so tired and lethargic today, really cannot be bothered to do anything!!

hope all having a good weekend

Thanks girls. I have an anterior placenta, so that's why it's taking ages to feel the baba. I'm 23+3 today...

Productive weekend so far :) cleared two spare rooms yesterday, and painted the baby room today with my mam's help! Looking good :) will be unpacking all the furniture next weekend! Can't wait!!

We did a bit more in baby's room today...

Also started putting things away in the drawers and cupboards. I am desperate to start washing stuff but managed to hold off... for now lol!

Bigbee - don't forget you might not feel baba if you're busy, and you certainly sound it. I feel kicks in the morning because I get out of bed very slowly...tend to lie there for a while first. And I feel them around lunchtime when I sit and put my feet up for a couple of hours.

My scan says I too have an anterior placenta. So if I want to feel kicks I have to lie down after a drink or food, and concentrate on my bump.

Henry is really irritating me today. Have absolutely no patience.

We have toad in the hole with mash and beans for dinner :) x
