I personally didn't have the video monitor but I bought the movement pad separately and used it until my son was 8 months old and it was fab. Batteries lasted in it brilliantly but I think you can geta plug for the wall if you have the monitor. I love tommy tippee products and used them a lot for my son. It was always really good quality. We shared a room with our son until he was 10 months old due to living with parents that was the only reason we didn't bother with having the video monitors otherwise I think I would have and wouldn't hesitate to buy one with these babies xxx

Girls, when you say baby is under your ribs, could you try and explain what it feels like?

Depends on if it was head or feet, both equally as sore/uncomfy especially in the later stages!! Almost felt as if he was getting limbs stuck between gristle that sort of feeling!

My son was breech for ages so had his head right in there which meant i couldn't sit straight or id rub it and it bloody hurt!

Mayflower my baby b is always I my ribs (her head) it feels sore from the front and sometimes with speak into my back always under the right and if I try to sit on the couch with my back straight it feels tight and like some things stopping me sitting comfortably so tend to have to lie back when she's there. Sorry to hear your feeling crampy button bear. Could you have a warm bath to try and ease it a little. Hope it goes soon xxx

Earlier on this afternoon, I could not get comfortable on the sofa at all. My tummy and chest felt so bloated and uncomfortable all of a sudden (even though I hadn't eaten) and it didn't ease until I lay down on my bed. I wondered if it was baby in a funny position, or just one of the joys of pregnancy lol

I don't think I will ever have the problem of this baby being under my ribs! He is seriously just so low - LO was the same.

At work! I've got one drop left then can go back to base! I'm tired and hungry!!! Wanna eat!

Well freckle certainly picked up last night. And he's been his usual kicking self today must've been having a growth spurt yesterday

Well just back from the cinema for a date night, was fab... well the film the 2 and a bit hours of uncomfort wasn't so much fun my poor back/hips!!

Little squish definitely heard all the noise, was going mad in my belly!! lol

Argh men! The OH brought the LO in bed with us and then moaned for the next hour or so that there was no room!!! So now I am wide awake, LO is in his bed and I'm getting up to him coz he can't settle back to sleep and he's snoring happily!
