Im having period type cramps today too buttonbear, what did your sonographer say it was. Its been worrying me today. It's more uncomfortable than painful so im just resting. It's not like my braxton hicks have been, I usually have no pain but tight tummy and the period pain is on the left hand side at the bottom by my hip. Feeling quite fed up today. I have a awful cold and have no energy. I have no interest in anything and just want to be on my own which is hard with a 3 year not sure what to do with myself xxx

She saw they were braxton hicks contractions, as my uterus/placenta was contracting while at my scan. I had been stressing that day about them but she said they are normal and alot of the time you dont know they are happening. Its only if they get really badly sore/unbearable to call mw etc

Awww yay glad scan went well my love, the quality is so much better isnt it!! Glad she is still a girlie hehe

We bought our first girlie outfit today, well its a pale green colour with some pink in it, super cute!

What do Braxton hicks feel like? I few times today I’ve had quite a crampy tummy and it feels really hard. Had a very busy day today, so think I’ll just chill this evening.

Pretty much just like how you describe, they shouldn't be too sore, just uncomfortable more than anything my love. I do find its when I've been on my feet/busy

My pelvis has been really achy today so I'm assuming stretching?

Morning ladies, I can't believe how close we are to tri 3 either. I swear we've not been in Tri 2 that long?! I'm still feeling quite sorry for myself, I think I'm going to need some more prescriptions to get my poor vagina back to normal! She's really not very happy at the moment

Has everyone been working out when they want to finish work? I think I'd like to stop on 18th of April at 35+5 (my company works on a Sunday to Saturday working week) and take 2 weeks annual leave before starting my maternity leave at 37+5. This all hinges on if they get me a chair as I currently have to stand behind a counter for my whole shift and its starting to take its toll already. Last pregnancy I finished at 29 weeks as I'd had enough and had no intention of returning! But that was a different job

I'm planning to finish work on the 1st of May, I will be 38+1 then. I don't get holidays, or maternity pay so want to work as late as possible...plus leave some time for chilling on the sofa

My back has been quite sore this week, so I'm not sure whether it's from sitting at a computer all day or cos I got back to the gym this week. Planning to get the nurse at work to come round to my desk tomorrow and do the assessment. So uncomfortable!!

I'm thinking of finishing on 24th April for mat leave. I'll be 37+5. Then baby should be born at 39+4 because of my elective section. Was gonna go the week before on 17th but when I worked out when I would be due back after my 39 week mat leave & 6 week annual leave it would be the week of Henry's 4th birthday. We usually have a week off for each of our birthdays to do things together so if I can struggle that extra week being pregnant at work I will be due back the day after Henry's birthday. So I've decided to do that! Don't want Henry missing out xx

I think my plan is to have my last day at work on the 1st May, 2 weeks annual leave then maternity leave starting when Im about 38weeks. My birthdays on the 11th May so would have that off normally anyway but his could all change. Depends how I'm feeling and how much annual leave I have to use up

Im also unsure what to dress babies in, my son was born beginning of march, so to bring him home he had a vest, sleep suit, thickish pram suit and hat and scratch mittens. with blanket on top in car seat. Not sure for april and may as it should be slightly warmer. I may take all of the above just in case as could be a cold day, then decide layer wise on the day. If its warm i could just use vest sleep suit and little cardigan with light blanket in car seat. You can always remove extra layers if too warm for baby xxx
