Maternity Clothes?

My OH bought me some dresses from Mothercare and are sooooo comfy - and i can even wear them after baby is here!! ASOS is great bought a few bits on there - they have some vests for as little as £4 and are lovely quality!!!
Red Herring in Debenhams also have a maternity section - of which they had a sale when i went in there yesterday and got a cardigan for £9!!

Does anyone have any ideas and tips on what to wear to a wedding at the end of Oct? baby is due the 9th as want to be prepared incase baby is late and don't get chance to get an outfit!!

I bought my maternity jeans in new look in their sale.
Bit of advice, go for over the bump because under can get very uncomfortable, especially when you are bloated badly lol

I have found that a lot of my vest tops and tshirts still fit even over my bump and my best friend who is 8 months pregnant still wears non maternity tops all tight over her bump too so you should be able to get away with tops for a little while anyway. A decent pair of jeans and leggings are a must! X

I prefer under bump! I find over bump very uncomfortable. Maybe I'm just odd!

Matalan are good for basics, New Look and H&M I'd say... and good ol' eBay too of course :)

Buy oversized from Asda and katakana. I don't want to spend a fortune on clothes I will only wear for a few months. I've got a few quality items from mamas and papas and mothercare, I find mothercare jeans are cheap and very good quality, only £28. I got another pair from next for £40 and they were rubbish and ripped as soon as I out them on (the bump cloth bit). Sent them back!

I bought a dress from ASOS for like £28, would do for a wedding - it's the Kate Middleton dress and it is so comfy yet looks smart with tights and nice shoes x

Me wearing ASOS Kate dress - they do it in navy, green, plum etc for £28. Not great pictures but just to give you an idea, really comfy and would see you to the end of pregnancy no bother :)

This one looks nice too

Primark do maternity jeans for £7-£11
And jeggings.

I got some jeans from newlook in the sale and I'm only 14 weeks. They were 34" inside leg and I'm tall and I thought wow if I don't buy these I may never find this length. They was £10 in the sale.

I am not a big size, and my sister has just gone from a size 16 to a 12. So I'm planning on stealing her old clothes :)

I got some maternity skinny jeans from H&M today, they are a fab fit and sooo comfy! Some really nice tops also on the ebay shop Purpless, very reasonable and great fit.

Have a look on Ebay!! Primark is brilliant for stuff like maxi dresses and I lived in them in my last trimester! But even getting some leggings and shirts in a bigger size which you could wear after pregnancy too! I was a size 8 pre-pregnancy and now am still between 12-14 altho some do go back to original size. What I ended up wearing in work was a maternity dress I'd bought for a wedding party from debenhams because jeans and leggings just were plain uncomfy lol and I still wear that dress now and again lol x

When choosing mat clothes what size do u go for? Before I became pregnant I was a size 6/8 but I have put on a weight so do I order the size 8 or go up to a size 10?? X

Also I will be going with primark and new look for mat clothes however my friend just buys normal clothes but in bigger sizes X

Look on the clearance section of next under maternity. I've managed to get 2 pairs of trousers and 3 pairs of jeans (all over the bump which are soooo comfy) between £6-£14 so pretty cheap. I've not had to buy any tops and hoping not too-I'm just stretching the ones I have lol xx

Oh and stay with your same size. I've always been an 8 and I'm still an 8 in Mat clothes. You don't need to go up a size xx

Ok thank you, need to start looking at mat jeans as I cannot fit into mine already X

For tall girls like me Newlook is amazing. Affordable, nice and they do longer length trousers/jeans.
Also I just got some larger sizes floaty tops.
