*****March 2019 Mummies*****

Does she know about the baby yet? Or is she too young to understand x

She only turned two on Thursday and so I'm not sure she will understand. We haven't told her and will tell her on the day we tell family (providing all is well) but I don't think she'll really get it x

Bless her <3

I'm still exhausted it's about the only symptom that hasn't buggered off yet, Everything else eased off during week 11.

All of my symptoms have gone except the tender nipples.
Only one more sleep until our scans.

Charlotte there is a fb group for March mum's and I commented in one of your other threads that it's secret so nobody can find it. Once the admin of the fb group comes back onto the forum hopefully she will see you want to be added and will contact you about it.

It's secret because not many of us have gone public with our pregnancies and not even our families know so I wouldn't go creating another and just wait. X

Yeah the thread here kind of died when the Facebook group was made, there's only a few that still talk in here.

Someone will check it eventually just be patient

The Facebook group isn’t particularly busy either sparky. I think it’s just that initial excitement after getting a bfp has died down

We all must have our 12 week scans coming up soon?

I'm so on edge, I just want it to be 845 tomorrow morning just to know it's baby is still ok in there.
The next 18.5hrs are going to drag!

Hey everyone, I've been quiet on here as been on holiday etc. Now 9+4 and got my date for my dating scan on 5th Sept. Can't wait!

Just wondered if any of you (especially first time mummies) have had any of your friends be a bit weird when you have told them about your pregnancy?x

Im not a first mummy but a 2ND, I told my friend who I work with 'Im pregnant' and she was okay with it at first, but now she being real annoying 'do this' do that', 'don't let your partner be the birthing partner, let me' She is basically tell me what to do in this pregnancy.
Its so frustrating! :(

I have my 12w scan tomorrow same time as Summer, been listening with the doppler to baby's heartbeat every day so I'm only worried about the chromosome stuff for now x

Last night I dreamed of twin girls and later on had a seperate dream that baby was measuring 6 days behind!

We'll have to see lol

Sorry you're going through that, Charlotte.
No one can make you do anything unless you let them :)

I have got a baby heartbeat monitor/doopler, (Im 10W+4D today)
I started doing my babys heartbeat at 8W, I was certain I could hear the heartbeat, it sounded like 'little waves' Is that the heartbeat?

My MW told me that using a baby doopler at home is a dangerous thing, I was thinking why? She said in a loud mannor 'I suggest you put it away and don't use it:('

But still I use it even now. :) But is that what I should be hearing looking out for idk because I have never used a doopler on my last pregnancy?

Oh Charlotte how annoying! I have a good friend at work who had 4 babies and she's been lovely, gave me a ton of pregnancy books too haha!

It's my 2 vest friends. I dunno if I'm being over sensitive but I just feel like they aren't that excited for me and are all of a sudden planning all these trips and nights out that I can't go on. They have always been friendly before but I'm the reason their friends and now I feel like they're almost going off without me! I do if I'm just being hormonal but it's getting me down!

Yes I know what you mean, I think you 'should' be annoyed - if there planning trips and nights out without you, That's just not fair!
I be reall annoyed at that!

@Charlotte people get irate about dopplers because they assume you're going to go 'oh everythings fine so i dont need to go to the midwife' - when in reality all I think when I use it is literally 'yep, baby is alive' and 'what a nice sound.'

I got grilled on my thread about dopplers on here for the same reason. If I thought for one minute something was wrong nothing would stop me from phoning the midwives, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy listening to the sound of my baby's heartbeat. They just assume you don't know what you're doing because not everyone does. I used one with my DD too, it was amazing. OH and I love laying in bed listening to the heartbeat and little flutters of baby kicking, can't feel them yet but we can hear them :)

I was always in hospital on the belly doppler with DD because she kept not moving for a day or so at a time, they used to monitor me for a few hours. I may not be a midwife but it only takes one to teach you what you're looking for, same way they learn, right?

Yes, just literacy now I have just been upstairs to do my baby monitor. But got really annoyed at it because couldn’t even find or hear the baby’s heartbeat :(
So a little sad... I don’t know if something is wrong. But my monitor was really crackling tonight it’s a angelsounds one.

They're only small at this stage you won't find them every time. I found DD at 7 weeks but didn't find this baby until 11 weeks!
