if anyone's on a diet (there must be someone - we're females in january!) how are you taking the 2ww? are you eating a bit more in case you're preggers or keeping going with the diet - how extreme is your diet/exercise regime anyway?

Just started mine again and I will carry on with it in the 2ww and hopefully through a pregnancy if it happens, healthy eatting is me lol (till that chocolate bar calls :lol: )
 
I just ate as normal, in fact I had eggs, a rare steak, pate and alcohol!!! I don't think there's any need to alter your diet significantly until you find out you are pregnant but it doesn't hurt if you want to start eating differently now. There aren't that many foods you shouldn't have when you get pregnant.
 
thanks, will keep up with the diet/healthy eating while in 2ww then.
my diet should be pretty easy to stick to. one of my mates lost a lot of weight this way so hopefully I will too! and my exercise is jogger trampoline and exercise bike so they should be fine wile pregnant as I can go as gentle as I want.
 
I tend to carry on with my diet and exercise in the same way as normall when i'm in the 2ww, unless I startign sympton spotting and tend to eat what I like incse I am pg and its a craving ( But I think I just use that as an excuse when I can't be botherd with the diet :oops: )
 
i need to loose a bit but i am not kidding myself :rotfl:

i am going to try and "eat healthy" i have cut out all alcohol but then i drink far too much.

i got a tropicana smoothie today to have as b'fast which i normally skip, 250ml is 2 potions of your 5 a day and its well tasty.

need to get rid of all the xmas chocs that we still have
 
yeah - they suck when dieting! hubby has a giant tin at work we want rid of. thyeach got a tin so can't fob it off on someone else from there. I think I know where to deposi them where they will disappear though! teachers love chocolate so I'll take them to work!! hopefully I'll get a contract somewhere soon so it can be a leaving present too! I've been goodish (didn't get too much chocolate this year and hubby scoffed most of it while I was ill) my tummy's looking a bit trimmer but my ass is stil massive and I hate my double chin!
 
i want to start dieting too. i need to lose some weight. was going to start today...until i noticed a box of twilights left over from xmas. i think its gonna be too hard to do until the xmas food is gone.
 
nothing to do with ttc but went into gym/garage and cycled 10 miles on ex bike and went on my trampoline!! had special k for lunch - the purple berries one is yummy!!

very proud of myself! :D
 
I'm currently trying to lose weight too, dropped from size 22 to size 14 last year now want to get down to size 10/12. I plan to keep eating little and often, keeping an eye on my calories and trying to keep active, whilst TTC and when pregnant.

I'm already cutting down on the foods that your not supposed to eat when pregnant! x
 
what foods are you supposed to give up anyway? I get a bit confusd about what's ok and what's not cause it seems to change all the time!
