Lochia - bleeding

When does it stop?????

I had lo 1st April and still bleeding. The mw did say that as i suffered a 3rd degree tear and needed surgery to fix that as id lost a lot of blood already that id not bleed as much as some. But just as i thought itd let up a bit, its awful again today and yesterday.

When does it stop? Feel minging..

I bled quite heavy for about a week then it was mainly a light bleed for 2 weeks unless I overdid it during the day then it got heavier. I started to take the pill on day 21 so I'm guessing this is what stopped my bleeding x

Mine stopped after about three weeks.

With my first I bled for 5 weeks and also have a 3rd degree tear. This time I had an ELCS due to the position of my twins and was told I'd bleed a bit less as they clear you out a bit while they're in there apparently but still bled for 5 weeks, although it was lighter than with my first. I was told anything up to 8 weeks is normal.

Mine stopped at 3 weeks, but had only been spotting really from 2-3 weeks! know what you mean about feeling minging! I hate using pads/sanitary towels!

I bled heavily for 5 weeks with H, then light on/off spotting for 3 more weeks, so 8 weeks in total!
